I am writing to file a complaint against Coding Ninja Institute. https://www.codingninjas.com/ Website for your reference. where I enrolled in the Data Analytics Job Boot Camp course in July 2024. The registration fees were Rs. 5, 000, and the course fees were Rs. 1, 20, 000, which was later converted into a loan by them of Rs. 1, 15, 000 from a company called Fibe. https://www.fibe.in/ Website for your reference.
The course was for six months, but due to my job commitments, I was/am not able to dedicate time to complete the course. Despite my efforts to request cancellation, the institute refused, citing their policy. They had converted my fees into EMI, which deducts the monthly installment from my account. As a result, I am being unnecessarily charged for a course I am unable to complete. As per the agreement, my EMI deductions were supposed to start from September 2024. However, due to my work commitments and limited salary, I am unable to afford the EMI payments. I am willing to accept the deductions made until now, but I request that no further EMI deductions be made, as I am not continuing the course.
I have repeatedly requested Coding Ninja to cancel my course, but they have refused, stating that their policy does not allow for cancellations. However, upon reviewing the agreement, I did not find any clause that prohibits course cancellation. Also upon requesting their Head Mr. Dev, about the course cancellation he said this has been already informed you while your onboarding that the course cannot be cancelled once enrolled. After me bringing this to his notice that this was not informed to me by any of the counsellor while onboarding neither did i receive any mail in the welcome mail or in the agreement. He said will check with the team and get back to you with the recordings and will forward the mail which stated that once the enrollment is done the cannot cancel it. But I never heard back from him(This is the Scenerio of October before Diwali) He said I am sort of staff as everyone has gone for Diwali vacation will get back after Diwali. But I never heard back from them. even after several followup calls.
I have attached the agreement and emails exchanged with Coding Ninja for your reference. I have also contacted Fibe, but they informed me that they cannot cancel my EMI without confirmation from the institute.
I kindly request your help in resolving this matter. Coding Ninja has not provided any support, and I have received no response to my calls and emails. I hope you can help me in this situation. They are continuously telling me that they cannot cancel the enrollment, I'll have to pay the EMIs. I'am a employee who has other loans on my plate as well as family responsibility to take of, like hospital bills and other expenses. Due a recent unforeseen accident of my Mother, i have to take care of the hospital bills which is why I cannot afford this EMI which is getting deducted for the course which I am not able to do. This was informed to the Coding Ninja team as well but they did not support me with this. I am going through a hard time. That's the reason I ended up coming here and filing a complaint against them. I seek Govt's help in this.
