Cognico — Salary not paid and fake neft slip shared by cognico (Hyderabad-based company)

I am writing to file a serious complaint against Cognico, a company based in Hyderabad, Telangana.
I worked with them and am yet to receive my salary, which has been pending for over two months. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was told that a NEFT transfer was initiated. However, the amount was never credited to my account. When asked for clarification or confirmation from their bank, I received no valid response.
What’s worse, the payment slip they shared appears to be fake. No transaction ID can be verified, and there’s been no proof of reversal if the payment had actually failed. This has raised concerns about fraud and unethical practices.
I am only requesting the rightful dues for the work I have completed — nothing more. Withholding an employee’s salary and possibly sharing a forged transaction slip is both unethical and a criminal offense under Indian law.
I request authorities and concerned consumer protection bodies to kindly look into this matter and help ensure I receive my payment. I am also considering filing a complaint with the Labour Department and Cyber Crime cell if the issue is not resolved.
