I would like to bring to your attention the poor maintenance of drainage cleaning in our area.
The drainage cleaning work is being carried out only on one half of the street, while the remaining half is left unattended. When I enquired with the cleaning staff about the incomplete work, they simply asked me to visit the Corporation Office and lodge a complaint instead of addressing the issue.
Additionally, even when the drainage cleaning is carried out, the removed silt and debris are not cleared on the same day. They are left lying on the roadside for nearly 7–10 days, causing inconvenience to residents and creating unhygienic conditions.
I kindly request the concerned authorities to:
1. Ensure complete drainage cleaning on both sides of the street.
2. Remove the collected silt and debris on the same day.
3. Monitor the cleaning staff and ensure the work is completed properly and regularly.
I request the Corporation to take immediate action and ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in our area.
