I am James from Gandhi MaNagar, Coimbatore.(Ward No.: 41).
We have built a new house with 4 portions. We have applied for new water connection and EB connection but we are not able to get the same due to below reasons.
1. Public Welfare case was raised by a person(Mr. Kathirgamam) to not to provide water and EB connection for the house which are having deviation and it is a court order to not to provide EB and water connection for the houses that are having deviation.
The above reason was got from Mr. Elangovan(AE) while discussing the procedure for water connection and local foreman related to EB connection. 2 weeks before, Mr. Elangovan told that Assistant Commissioner(Mrs. Mohanasundari) is planning to discuss with the petitioner(Mr. Kathirgamam) to conclude on this issue to provide water and EB connections but the same situation continues and there is no progress.
We didnt know these procedures while building the house and while getting the building plan approval and while getting the tax book. If we are aware of these procedures then for sure we would have taken necessary action steps. We tried to get a completion certificate also from the corporation but they are not providing it.
We are facing the below problems due to the above points.
1. We have built the house by getting a house loan and we are paying Rs. 40000/- EMI on a monthly basis.
2. As of now nobody is coming for rent due to this problem due to which we are facing great difficulty in paying the EMI month on month, as we are highly dependent on rent to pay the EMI.
3. As the old houses with multiple(above 5 portions) portions nearby are having water connections and EB connections (which has been got earlier), all of them are going to their house though it is older than us.
We are blank on the next steps that's why we are raising this request to this mail id. We request you to take it on high priority and solve this issue immediately.
Note: We are ready to pay any fine if it is applicable.
