1. I had booked ( e ticket no[protected] ticket for delhi to chennai for 10 mar and return ticket for 16 mar 2016. The details of passengers were as under:-
(A) mr pradeep kotnala (B) mrs neelam kotnala (C) miss swarnim kotnala
2. On 25 feb 2016, we approached air india office at delhi to amend the date of travel in respect of ms swarnim kotnala only, which was done by the employee at counter after paying the penalty odf rs 4000/- (Pnr- yeow2). It was confirmed by the employee at the desk that rest of the bookings stand and same pnr will work as other tickets were not asked to be cancelled.
3. On 10 mar 2016, when self and my wife mrs neelam kotnala approached ai counter at ig airport t3 for check in, we were informed that our bookings have been cancelled. There after we were asked to approach ticketing counter at t3 and some how after lot of argument and explanations we were issued a fresh pnr and thus boarded the flight ai 439 for which we had done the booking. Our return ticket was also confirmed for 16 mar 2016 as per our earlier scheduled.
4. On 16 mar we reached at the air port at chennai to board our earlier scheduled flight no ai 539, but as we approached the check in counter, we were told that our flight was booked for ai 440, which departs in the morning and we have missed the same. Ultimately i was not allowed to board ia539 for which i had done the initial bookings as per my schedule . I had to purchase a fresh ticket for rs 18020/- and perform journey. No refund was given for the flight which i was placed without my consent as i never asked for the change in my scheduled.
5. In view of the above, you are requested to make the loss good by allowing refund of rs 18020/- and penalize the staff at safderjung airport, delhi who handled my bookings and goofed up badly. This has caused lot of mental agony to me beside inconvenience. My new booking pnr is z79ro dt 16 mar 2016 for ia 539.
