Colive Ironwood Bangalore,hulimavu — Did scam in my deposit and adding extra charges, scammers

Hello everyone! I want to share my recent experience during my 3-month stay at Colive. I thought it'd be great to document it here and get your thoughts on how to handle the situation.

I moved into Colive in August 2023, paying a security deposit of 11, 000 INR. The monthly rent was 9, 000 INR, with additional charges for electricity (400 INR) and service (100 INR). Since I didn't use certain services, I chose not to pay for them. Thus, my total rent came to 9, 500 INR per month.

Upon moving in, they assured me that I'd receive 8, 000 INR back
from my deposit upon departure. However, after receiving the final bill, I'm confused. They've included an additional electricity charge of 668 INR, something called a "separation charge" of 2, 250 INR (I gave one month's notice on October 1st and moved out during the last week of October, in accordance with their policy), and Repair and Maintenance Charges of 5, 000 INR.
