The complaint is against the Company - M/s A.S.Moloobhoy & Sons and they are operating from the following address in Mumbai :

This is company has embarked on rampant tax evasion of all forms - Income Tax, Service Tax , VAT and also Custom Duties. Every year there are number of raids but the owner gets away by paying bribe to the inspecting officers. CEO of the company - Mr LM Swanne and Accounts Head - Mr Som Neogi are in hands in glove with the owner Mrs Nafeesa Moloobhoy in all these crimes, This lady is evading Tax of Crores of Rupees of all sorts over the years.

She has declared to Customs that this is a Ship Repair Unit (SRU) and as such exempted for Customs when importing spares for ship repairs. But what she does is that she imports full assembled units at a very low cost since Customs duty is exempted and sale these full units at a very high price to ship customers.

For tenders to Indian NAVY/ Indian Coast Guard she mentions in her price offer that VAT is 12.5% and is included in the price. Navy/ Coast Guard pays this company at the prevailing rates of VAT 12.5% but after getting payment from Navy/Coast Guard this company either does not at all pay any VAT amount to Govt or pay very feeble (negligible )amount and so evades VAT and causes heavy loss to Govt. While raid you should ask to show the proof that she ( owner - Mrs Nafeesa Moloobhoy) has paid the VAT and other Taxes. You will surprise that she has not paid a single penny to Govt. Also when you raid keep going till finish the raid otherwise she is capable of hiding many things. In case the raid is incomplete in one full day /night then sela the company and continue raid the next day.

When the raid team comes Mr Rajkumar, Jt GM Accounts runs with lakhs o[censored]naccounted money ( cash) and hides here and there in the car parked in and out of the company premises. I suggest when the raid is to be conducted the only gate of the company should be closed / locked and the raiding team should search all places ,parked cars, cupboards, all computers keeping account. Two persons should always man the gate so that no one can run away with the unaccounted cash. The owner of this company ( Mrs Nafeesa Moloobhoy) is worth going behind bars for all the sins she has done and the losses she has done to Govt of India over the years.

Sir, now I leave it to you to take proper action and raid this company - A.S. Moloobhoy & Sons with a big team of officers and search the complete office and seal it to closure for ever unless the owner Mrs Nafeesa Moloobhoy clears crores of Tax that she has evaded over the years.
