[Resolved]  ABC — Harassment by Marriage Registrar (Mumbai)

I recently got married and applied for marriage certifcate. I had all the prescribed documents in place which are mentioned anywhere and are required. At the time of submission, I was told that I need to give proof of me and my wife staying together. Isn't marriage supposed to be THE proof that 2 people stay together ???? Also, proof that are accepted of staying together are Ration Card, Joint Bank A/c which themselves need marriage certificate to be submitted for acquiring them. This is sheer harassment by marriage registrar people. What is the solution to this ?
