[Resolved]  Aggarwal associates — Cheating & Fraud

I purchased a flat in Aditya Mega City in Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad from Agarwal Builders and Developers (Agarwal Associates). Which was also built by the same builders. To start with they promised me a date of possession which they kept on delaying and whenever I visited the flat, I found it in the same unfinished shape and my flat was being used as a store to keep their building material.

However I did got possession of the flat after 4 months of delay but what I got was nothing less than pathetic after spending Rs. 70 Lacs(approx.) Here are the details:-

1. Floor & Bathroom tiles - There is no tile in the entire flat that are in same level. Outcome - floor has started to disintegrate only in 6 months and now I have to get them changed on my own expense.
2. Bath Fittings - I had to change literally every bath fitting on my own expense because they were of the worst quality and some of the fittings were even used before they were fitted in my flat.
3. Electricity - I am given so many electricity points in my flat with no wires in them. I had to get all the points done again on my own expense.
4. Power back-up - I paid additional money to get the power back-up facility but what we got here is a set of old noisy generators that keeps breaking down frequently and have to be started manually. Outcome - Frequent Blackouts.
5. Seepage. (It deserved to be the first point) there is not a single flat in the whole locality where you don't find this problem.
6. Doors - Made up of old wood with lowest quality polishing work.
7. Maintenance - I was charged additional Rs. 45,000 as 2 years advance maintenance charges and now approximately Rs. 100 are being deducted from my prepaid electricity meter as maintenance charges and I am being told that those Rs 45,000 were charges for availing the facility and not an advance.
In addition the maintenance staff is inadequate and untrained.
8. False commitments - Pure drinking water 24 hrs. a day (I'm glad I had my own RO Aqua guard), Intercom, Uninterrupted power supply, state of the art club & swimming pool. These all look attractive when you see the marketing brochure, but they never intended to be delivered.


Still so much to write about. After all my repeated complaints to the management and Chairman of Agarwal Associates my issues still remain and now I just don't expect any action from them.

My sole purpose is to let those know about the Agarwal Associates group who desire to buy a flat in their project. I have been cheated and I don't want any other to fall in their trap (even if it reduces my flat's market value).
