My wife is a cancer patient detected in 2005 and undergoing treatment since then. She has been recently detected of resurfacing again and a cycle of chemotherapy has been recommanded. Three cycle is complete. But for every cycle even after prior booking of bed the staff at the admission counter is upto certain mischief. Every time they inform that intimation of vacant bed will be intimated over phone but deliberately or not they overlook and will entertain when they arise from slumber. The recommanding doctor blames the patient or their relatives for negligence overlooking the inability of the hospital staff. Their should be more such cancer hospitals to break the monopoly of Apollo hospitals. The Tata should come forward with such hospital in Chennai.
