In most cases when you call one of these numbers the phone that starts ringing will actually be a mobile phone somewhere in Nigeria, as the UK number has been programmed to auto-forward calls to another number. These +44 70xx numbers are used as a redirector service to obscure the fact that the person taking the call is not actually based in Europe. The UK number is used to lend credibility to the scam. Unfortunately the authorities in the UK do not seem to be taking action to shut down such phone numbers.

JOB OFFER LETTER/AGREEMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITION.

DEAR APPLICANT,
With reference to your application and subsequent online interview, we are please to
offer you employment in Coaster Oil and Gas Company LTD, London, United Kingdom.
The employment is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. DESIGNATION ;ACCOUNTING OFFICER
2. CONTRACT PERIOD :
This contract will be valid for a period of two years from the date of joining and is
renewable after the completion of two years.
3. REMENERATION AND PERQUISITES:
3.1 BASIC SALARY: £5000. (MONTHLY) 60, 000ANNUM
3.2 HOUSING: Suitable Housing facility will be given to you
3.3 TELEPHONE: Suitable Mobile allowance will be given to you
3.4 MEDICAL: Medical reimbursement as per shall be provided company
rules and regulation.
3.5 TRANSPORT: You will be provided transport for official usage
3.6 SETTLEMENT ALLOWANCE: £2.000pounds and two months upfront
salary on joining.
3.7 ANNUAL LEAVE: Annual leave of one calendar month for each compete year of
employment will be allowed to you. This may be accumulated for two years and availed
together. Leave encashment may also be permitted at management discretion.
3.8 LEAVE PASSAGE: Return air passage airfare for economic class will be paid for
you and three of your families i.e. wife/Husband with two children under age of eighteen.
3.9 JOINING EXPENSES: You and your family (wife and husband with two children
up to age of eighteen) will entitle to economy class air ticket.
3.10 VISA EXPENSES: You will pay visa expenses but will be reimburse on joining
3.11 BONUS: Bonus may be payable at Management discretion
3.12 EDUCATION EXPENSES: School fees up to £5.000pounds for children per
annum of actual amount will be your entitlement for your children. Expenses on uniform,
text books etc. will be borne by you.
4. WORKING HOUR:
You will require working eight hours a day and fourth hours a week.
5. TERMINATION:
This contract can be terminate by either party on given three month’s notice in writing or
payment equivalent to one month salary in lieu of the notice period. In case of
termination of employment by the employer on disciplinary grounds, no notice period or
compensation in lieu of the notice period is required to be given.
6. SECRECY CLAUSE:
You shall not part with any of the information to any outside person or organization.
Breach of this condition shall be considered as a serious offence, which may necessitate
suitable action being taken by the company against you.
7. RESTRAINT OF EMPLOYMENT
You shall be restrained from taking employment with any of our sister company’s
competitors in London unless company’s prior permission is obtained.
8. JOINING PERIOD
You are required to join immediately of accepting this letter.
9. COMPENSATION CLAUSE
In case you resign or otherwise wish to leave the service of the company before
completing one full year of service under any circumstances whatsoever. You shall
compensate the company for.
[a] Joining expenses incurred by the company on you and
[b] Three month’s salary [salary that will be retained up to two years as a security and
after successful completion of two years shall be reimbursed].
With this contract, any past contract sighed by you with us or with any of our sister’s
company or with any of our representative are to be treated as null and void. You should
not have any objection to work even if you are transferred to any of our group Company.
You are requested to please sign and return the duplicate copy of this letter as a token of
your acceptance of this letter.
