It is becoming a nuisance everyday, with the corporation persons harassing households on 16th & 16th A main road for money every day. They have not collected garbage for the last 4 days now & the streets are stinking & become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Request some action at the earliest.

I completely agree with above post.
I stay at Benson Town, 2nd Main, 2nd Cross, S.K Garden, Bangalore and here the person who come to collect the garbage want money from each house for collecting garbage.
This is still ok..But as if I dont be at home & we dont give him money, he stops picking up the garbage.
then days and days the garbage be there itslef.
Accept Bangalore, I have not seen this pathetic situation in any of the metros.
The corporation authorities dont have any time to walk on streets and see wats wrong and wats happening.
I dont know wether dey will take some pain in reading this or not.

here i go... i stay at J.p nagar, 5th phase, narasimhaiah garden... am not sure whether contractors are paying salary for the garbage collecters, they are rally jumping on houses for money. they did have their demands/permonth. details below.
20 to 30n rs per month form each house, so my small street have 50 houses he gets 1500/month, so he is the guy who collects garbage from other streets too, , he comes to my stree weekly ones, no questions are welcome, never replies to any questions. blady***.
dear govt, please take action on this, 20-30 rs are not matter but money going on wrong hands, if govt implements any card system or giving govt receipts for the money would b better.

I am not sure if this is the forum to write for action, since I found it and read the above queries, it seems as if I too have the same queries as my fellow citizens here. We have our office at 5TH" C" main road, Tata Silk Farm, K.R.Road, Bangalore. This is a residential area and also has offices. But there is no garbage bin at this main road. The residents dump the garbage in the corner at the entrance of the road.I have seen the municipal workers come with their carts to collect and themselves dumping the garbage in this corner without a bin. I request the authorities to kindly have a bin fixed in as soon as possible. Otherwise its a health hazard for all the residents and people who live and contribute to the development of this place. Hope you will do the needful.
