[Resolved]  Banu Translators — Not Received for the Work done or acceptance

On July 25th I launched a complaint about Banu Translators, Mumbai that they delayed my payment. But now they remitted my payment today. So I want to take back the given complaint and thank this forum for it"s wonderful service. Kindly remove my complaint against this company.

I have also done job for her.. English to Malayalam translation. But I never recd the payment> Plas avois her in future

I accepted a project from Banu Translator's through Translator's cafe. The project involved translating two lengthy pieces from English to Bengali. The first piece had 150 pages and the second one contained 242 pages. The agreed rate for per page translation was $2.

I finished the 150pg piece first and told the outsourcer that I'd start the second piece once payment for this piece was cleared which she did.

However, once I completed and delivered the second file (242pages) she started acting evasive. At the beginning she would respond saying "I need some more time to pay" but that stopped soon after. She stopped responding to my mails or chat messages. She even stopped picking up the phone as well.

Finally when I threatened to report her for non-payment she mailed saying she had yet to receive payment from her client. Every time she responded she said the payment would be made next week but that "next week" is yet to come.

I submitted the second and final project on 15th April, 2012 and today is 12 September, 2012. I owe $484 (INR 26, 620/-, going by the invoice date) from her.

It's extremely annoying and frustrating to claim one's due continuously but receiving nothing in the end.

I welcome suggestion as regards how I can get my dues cleared. I have all the mails and chat records to prove my claim.

I have submitted the complaint list against Banu Translators. I have not received the payment. Then why did you delete from the complaint board.

I have already complained in the form. Last week a day before diwali I received a call from banu translators asking for my account details for crediting the payment. But unfortunately I did not receive the payment till now. When now I am dialing at the number again and again no one is picking up the call. Whatever they are doing the not good. Asking the people work for them and not giving the payment.

I am from Chennai I am also facing the same issue.I have completed the three books. 120 rupees per page is the budget.I have completed the books 2 months back. for the last two months he is not picking his phone. I mailed more then 20 times, still no reply from him.

Banu need to pay 18120/-

I dont know what to do?

So please dont believe this cheater guy anymore.

I am Varadaraju from Bangalore and I have been cheated by Banu Translators. Banu need to pay me 40, 000/- and there was some response till January 2013, saying that the payment will be done, but after Jan 2013 there was no response to the phone calls, chat, email etc., I can not locate her address also. She was saying some of her clients had cheated her and hence the delay. I have still been waiting to receive my payment. can anybody help me?

Asma Banu of Banu translators has to pay me 5000/- since 2013. She has been dodging ever since it was time to pay. Nobody should ever work for this crazy person again. I hope she is brought to books in the strictest manner.

Not only with Indian translators but foreign translators as well. I am a Mexican translator and, as well as the others in this forum, I was cheated of my payment by this person. The best we can do is to spread the word on the malpractice and wrongdoing of Banu in every translator page and forum that we encounter to stop her from doing this.
If anyone should come to meet her in person I recommend to spit her in the eye.

Not only is she doing this with hard-working translators from India, but from other countries as well. I am a translator from Mexico, and I was recently cheated from my payment in a similar fashion as the good people in this forum.

The best we can do is to spread the word on the malpractice, wrongdoing and general douchbaggery of this Banu person, so that no one in the translating business hires her or makes business with her.
Should someone. by chance, happens to meet her in person you should proceed to spit her in the eye.
