[Resolved]  Calcutta Telephones - Broadband — EXCESS BILLING[protected]

I was on the Home Plan 500, till November 2008, when the much hyped advertisement was publicized widely with BSNL ' REDUCES ITS RATETO RS.500/- UNLIMITED'. On applying for the same I was told that they would intimate the effective date to me, which they never bothered to do so. Instead they stopped displaying the usage chargeable details from 6th December, 2008 to ' 0 ' units everyday and the final chargeable units showed as on the close of 31st December, 2008, was 348.54 Mb. And I was billed for the sum of Rs.4133.60 P for the Dec 08, broadband uage, against my initial Home Plan 500. Again in the January 2009 Bill, they have charged me with Rs.750/- as Broadband Rental which is a different Plan altogether for which I have not applied at any point. In spite of my repeated plea to all concerned officials of Calcutta Telephones ( D.E. (Intl), Dum Dum Exchange, Nodal Officer, Kolkata, Appellate Officer, Kolkata), my complaint has found no redressal from any quarters. I have also registered my complaint with the National Consumer Helpline ( Complaint No. 168425 dated 04.02.09), still awaiting for their necessary action. I have repeatedly asked for the details of chargeable units usage for the month of Dec 08, which they have yet to comply with. I have a copy of the same as displayed in my portal id usage details to justify my claim, which they are not taking into account for reasons best known to them.It is surprising that the Bills of BSNL does not reflect any usage details making it questionable at every stage of doubt. For me it is shocking that I have to face such an ordeal from a large Govt. organisation like
BSNL.Will anyone speak from BSNL ?

Calcutta Telephones — Worst service by GOVT Organisation

My Telephone number is 24286247 of Calcutta telephones.Using this line for last one and half years.My telephone line is almost dead for round the year, but every month bill is comming and i am paying the bill.I have also a broad brand connection and IPTV connection in this number and all are not working.I have given complain after complain regularly like a daily routin.but still today nothing happen.
I understand that this is Calcutta telephones.

For long the receiver I got from Calcutta Telephones is not working as line gets cut within a very short time while on use & therefore practically useless & lying which kindley replace preferably as earlier attempts repairing of same by you found not successful . our broadband fault is not cleared since a month, service people are saying line problem but there is no fault in the line.
i am a retired b.s.n.l. officer and saying that b.s.n.l. is not at all up to the mark.
people make money but does not work at all.
I am applied for a Broad Connection to my land line no. 25360625 on 24.10.2011 to your Agent M/s. Hiltake Electronics (P) Ltd., P-17, Mission Row Extension, Kolkata - 700013 vide their Receipt Sl. No. ROF/RS/1758 dated 24.10.2011 with Rs. 1144.00 for Modem. But till date i.e.09.11.2011 no any response from BSNL department for connection of the same.
