[Resolved]  Castrol Bike Zone Viman Nagar, Pune — Bad Service, Late Service & Charging Higher rates for the parts

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Dilip Bharadwaj and I am resident of Vimannagar Pune.

On 15th Sept 2009 my bike(Hero Honda HUNK , no is MH-12 EN 9287) had some problem and was not running fine so I have given my Bike for repair at "Castrol Bike Zone, viman nagar, pune" service center. My Bike Zone Service JOB CARD NO. is 310. The supervisor told me bike gear are having some problem, so need to open the Engine. After two days they told me and showed that the bike gears got damaged. Further he inform me that parts are not available in their Service Center not Hero Honda agencies in pune region.

On 12th October 2009 they told me that only one shop "Geeta spare parts" have the parts(gear) and they are selling at higher rate(4-5 times) and not giving the Authorized Bill to them. So if you want, go and get the parts from them.

On Diwali vacation I went to my Home town Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and bring all the parts except one (part no. 23501KSP9105, rate - 180 Rs ) from "HERO HONDA AGENCY", gwalior on 14th October 2009 and handover to the bike zone supervisor on 21st October 2009 . They told me, it will take one week to complete the work and as am not able to get one gear from Gwalior HERO HONDA AGENCY, they purchased one from some store without quoting me price and installed it with remaining gears.

With having all parts to repair the Bike, still they took long time to return my bike and finally returned my bike on 5th November 2009. In Bill they charge Rs 755.55 for one gear.(Actual cost is approx 180 Rs.). In spite of incurring all the expenses my bike was not running smoothly as before(some sound problem in Engine and leakage of engine oil). Next day when I went there , they told me they will repair the "Neutral switch" as it got damaged during the repair time(They didn't inform me about the damage while final settlement of bill).

Once again they told me it will take one week of time and still they are saying that part is not available in Pune market. I spend lots of money in making calls to them inquiring about the parts & further unavailability of bike makes me travel through Auto rickshaw emptying my pockets.

Below are the Issue from "Castrol Bike Zone, viman nagar, pune"

1. Gear rate they charge from me 755.55/- (part no. 23501KSP9105, Actual rate - 180 Rs). The reason behind this higher rate difference they given me that they didn't found in the market and brought from "GEETA SPARE PARTS" automobile shop, pune as he is making profit because part is unavailable in market.
2. Delayed service.
3. Improper Servicing

Please take necessary action against the service centre.

I also faced similar problem 3-4 months back, it was not severe as yours but I fully agree on their Delayed & Improper servicing. This people need to work a lot on this.

Secondly they keep making calls and sending sms for getting service done but one time experience is well enough to be cautioned.

I also faced the same, low quality high priced service. These guys charged so much for service and parts, after seeing Dilip's case surely they are making fool out o[censored]s.
They are really destroying the precious time and money of customer. Castrol Bike Zone people don't even regret moreover they misbehave
yes, they charge 2 times as original parts cost
for that case castrol bike zone discuss with mr. dilip original parts not available in pune city, for perticular one part customer asked to local sapre part dealer m/s geeta agencies he was charged more than mrp for perticular part and this cost was confirmed by customer after visiting to geeta agencies, we are not recomonded to purchase this part from geeta agencies therefore customer went to gwalior for diwali vacation and he was purchase this part from gwalior city, all work done after giving proper estimate, after customer agree for the work then after work was done, delay in work because of customer not given the green signal for start the work, and neutral switch was not change while repairing. oil leackage problem start after 1 month after the engine work and we were told him please give vehicle for some settings after 400 to500 km after engine work but customer didn't give bike for settings and he drive his bike, so if we told him to give the bike for checking how could he blaim to us for bad service and last thing this gear purchased from geeta agencies by customer only and he gets bill for this part (rs.755.55) from geeta agencies. in this case castrol bike zone not charged more for this prat.
