[Resolved]  chamunni subramanian — Credit card payment given paid 3 days in advance in their atm cheque drop box in time

I am a HDFC credit card holder. Inspite of paying/droping the cheque in their drop box 3 days in advance of due date the next month bill add late fee fine of Rs.350. When I enquired with the security of the ATM told that every day the cheques are collected. Why the bank is cheating their customers. In January 2010 I had purchased for Rs.41380 and immediately paid Rs.31380 before the due date. But on 0th of February I was called by call centre girls and told that the payment is not made you have to issue another cheque. However, I had issued a cheque and also a letter given to the bank for stop payment. The next bill, the bank charged so much 1. cheque return charges, late payment, cheque collection charges so many charges. It is cheating. This October 1, 2010 was the cheque due date. I doposited on 28th September 2010 in the ATM drop box. But this month bill late fee of Rs.350 is added. I am planning to approach consumer redressal forum to clear all the money unnecessarily deducted from my account.
