[Resolved]  compaq presario cq 40 — laptop not starting,not booting

i bought my laptop barely a 20 days ago but its windows showed some problems n i formatted the same and tried to reboot the system with my original windows xp cd...but when i insert the disc, it gives the following message..
windows have detected some problem and is shutting to prevent damage to ur computer
if this is the first time u r seeing this error restart the computer..if the problem persists follow the following steps
check for any viruses on pc..uninstall any newly installed hard drives..
check for hard disc configuration
if problem persists check for hard disc corruption usig CHK DSK/F
Every time it is showing the same
plz help me out

compaq presario cq 40 — internet connection

i want to connect LAN in my laptop (model- compaq presario CQ 40). it consist of ETHERNET DRIVER of LAN. i have done all the settings of lan connection and it shows that lan is connected but websites does not open. so please tell me the prosedure of lan connection through eternet driver.

compaq presario cq 40 — Non Receipt of Kodak digital camera

I had purchased one leptop of Compaq from Silchar, Assam. According to existing offer, I had sent a
cheque of Rs 1299/- of Axis Bank to HP Redemption cell, first floor, A-2 Okhala industrial area phase-1, New Delhi-110020 on[protected]. the said amount was deducted from my account on[protected], after that I contacted at HP Redemption Cell, New delhi then they told me that they have sent one kodak digital camera through the first flight courier but I have not received the camera till date.

Kodak/Digital Camera — Not Received the Courier

I would like to ask that HP Redemption Cell of New Delhi sent me a courier to the address below:-
F-47 R.P.S Colony GumanPura
Kota Rajasthan
HP Redemption Cell dispatched this courier On March 24, 2009 and up to this day i have not received it.Kindly tell me whats the problem or error occurred in mailing or dispatching the courier.
The consignment number of the product is [protected] and will you also provide me the office address of your Kota branch so that i manually check it there.

compaq presario cq 40 — no response and sick attitude of customer care and service centre

I had given my laptop to service centre i doesn't get proper response and my warranty period is getting over on nov-04 2010. Real cheating and hole attitudes.I never seen such a behaviour. i submitted my notebook on 12th october
