SCDL... the money minting university. They have a so called Student Support Center wherein the staffs yell, misbehave when they are questioned over the phone, yet SCDL asks to call their helpline for any queries!!! SCDL management, can you train your staffs to be polite and patient with the students?
Talk about their Student Support helpline (e-mail), your queries are never answered through e-mails. Same holds good for the Grievance cell.
Log into their Student Center portal, what an unprofessional look of the website. No standard font size, no relevant updates (irrelevant updates as old as 1 year still show up), with no proper e-learning sessions available for all the subjects of your diploma.
With the experience that I have with SCDL for the past 3 years, I am thoroughly appalled with their unprofessionalism although I had big hopes from this institute, and would never recommend anyone to get admission to any of the programs of SCDL. To add to the agony, they charge double the fees to the International students as charged to the domestic students but ultimately you are left in doom after paying hefty fees for an invaluable diploma and get yelled at by their uncultured, rude and uneducated Student support staffs.

moreover SCDL also fool's its students that its PG diploma courses have same content as of any other regular MBA degree and students can apply for job where qualification is asked as MBA or equivalent, but when employers asks SCDL about equivalency of its degree, SCDL clearly refuses and says that its PG courses are not equivalent to MBA...than Why any one do PG courses of SCDL with such heavy fees.

Subject: Refund of fee -Symbiosis center for Distance Learning. (Scdl).
I am writing to request a full refund of my fee rs 20, 000/-which I had paid during admission. My name is dinesh mehra. I had taken admission for PGDBA course in august 13, 2005, Admission status-confirmed/ registration no[protected]. It was my biggest achievement to join symbiosis, but due to my major road accident in year 2006, I had a head injury, I was under coma for three years, after that I quit symbiosis center for distance learning course, to improve head injury, as per doctor advised, I moved to my permanent town jodhpur that time, because of my greatest weakness in my memory loss. I already e-mail my problem to Ms Vedika pangarkar (coordinator enrollment) as she mentioned that (please refer to the prospectus page number 29 for more details.)thanks for your feedback I do understand that I am not eligible candidate, but my circumstance was totally different I lost my memory that's why I am too late to respond .if you understand my issue in positive way, I hope 20, 000/- rs is not that much big amount for you. I wish you will support me because your refund amount will help me in medical bills which I have to pay in hospital where I admitted for long time. Your support will really help me to pay my government hospital bill.now i am moving uk for furthur education
