It is usually quite simple to see if an offer is autentic. Simply reply to the message, then do a spelling check on the email. It appears that crooks are unable to spell.

I agree with above comments. I also received same kind of letter from them. It is very unfortunate that Spanish Governemtn is not taking any steps to stop such fake things. It will affect job less youth

I too nearly fell victim to this well thought out scam, however after the excitement died down and I scrutinised the document, I found a number of discrepencies. It is just sad that people would stoop to such a level to extort money from innocent individuals. I have spoken to this Grace and she sounds quite elderly to still be busy with this kind of fruad. WHY IS THE SPANISH GOVERNMENT NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT????, surely it reflects on them as well.

I agree with Mr. Wayne Patrick Dwyer, me too received an appointment letter the same with him. I also called Mrs. Grace Fernandez and she instructed me to send back the so called appointment letter to the ministry of interior and to be attention to her. So beware!

I am from South Africa and I have also received a letter from the HR Director from Sidenor inviting me to get my papers ready and acccept this very lucrative offer to work as Marketing Manager at their plant outside Madrid. What company would just employ people based on a submitted cv without an interview? This is very very sad indeed as people are seriously job hunting in these times. Those busy with this scam should know: what goes around, comes around, what you sow, you shall reap. What i do find interesting however, is that these mails emerged just after I enlisted with monster.com and other companies offering employment in the gulf and internationally. Somewhere someone is abusing his /her privileges and rights. I hope they get caught, because they are stealing from hopefull and sometimes unemployed people going through hard times

I have written to the real sidenor company and am awaiting their response. My suggestion is that everybody with such a complaint should forward the fake letters to them on: [protected]@sidenor.com I am sure that such a huge corporation would take sucah an issue seriously.
