Subject: Sewage Drains Overflowing at Jor Bagh

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your notice, the uninterrupted flow of dirty sewage water from the sewer drains along Lodi Road into the houses of Jor Bagh (Numbers: 12 to 20) since 26th November 2009. The NDMC referred the matter to CPWD and despite repeated complaints to suitable authorities no attempt has been made to correct the matter (CPWD Complaint # 117) for the past 2 weeks.

The worst affected area is outside 13 Jor Bagh such that it is impossible to walk out of the gate due to constant flow of sewage into the residence.

The sewage has caused extensive damage to the road and is now threatening to be a serious health hazard due to infestation of mosquitoes & foul smell.

You are requested to look into the matter at the earliest & take suitable corrective action.

Regards

CPWD new delhi — fitting of iron drainage pipe in balcony of qtr no-61/18 sector-3, Rk Ashram Marg, DIZ Area

fitting of iron drainage pipe in balcony of qtr no-61/18 sector-3, Rk Ashram Marg, DIZ Area

The Iron pipe fitted in the balcony for drainage of water was removed at least three (03) months before has not not been fitted inspite of complaint and personal request. Non- availability of drainage pipe is causing a lot of inconvenience as drained dirty water o[censored]pper floors continuously fall in the balcony which not only stinks but also causes inconvenience in entry/ exit. The absence of drainage pipe has caused seepage in the whole ceiling of the balcony which may ultimately result in collapse of the balcony.

it is therefore, requested that concerned JE (Civil) ie JE (Civil), Albert Square may kindly be directed for immediate fitting of the drainage pipe to avoid undue inconvenience and avoidable damage to the Govt property.
