[Resolved]  Derma-Care Mangalore — Patient exploitation by ganesh pai

Dr. Ganesh Pai is a very experienced skin specialist. I had been to him along with my mother 13 years back for removal of 52 very minor warts on my face. So experienced is he in his profession, that, He removed ALL the warts with an electric needle within 30 mts ( in one sitting only ) and my face was SPOT FREE within 2 days. He charged me 1, 000 rs only at that time. I had met him only ONCE. I dont think he even remembers me.

Now after 13 years, 12-15 minor warts have sprung up on my face and neck. Believe it, I cannot find any experienced doctor here in Abudhabi who can be a SPECIALIST like Dr. Ganesh Pai.

HATS OFF TO HIM !!!. Today if i were to pay him Rs 8, 000 - 10, 000 I would prefer to GO TO HIM ONLY. Bcoz most of the doctors i spoke here would like to use the liquid nitrogen spray on the wart, and the blemish will be there for atleast a month.

I beg to differ. I on the contrary had the most pleasant and unforgettable experience during my treatment with Dr.Ganesh Pai ( Derma-Care.in). In fact i believe one seldom comes across such experienced hands, well equipped clinic and skilled and co-operative team members. Dr.Ganesh Pai went a step ahead in giving honest suggestions too. My problem has been taken care of and i would recommend him to anybody who wish to see results..

dr.ganesh pai, is a nice doctor, beauty centres in delhi, even most renowed one- k.s.c; told me to go for deep peels sessions amounting upto 20, 000 for a spot on the nose, i happened by luck to visit him in m'glore he gave a cream worth 250/- and it went away in three weeks.
my girl friend has got twelve sessions done for hair on face and they have just reduced by half only. do get yr self checked by a gynae

Ranjitha I completely agree with you this doctor is literrally robbing you. He is charging you way too much for removing those hair on the chin and it does not that that much of time to remove off some hair permanently from chin. I would recommend you to get in touch with some lawyer(friend) and see how you could sue his . or just complain to the local council, you may also get in touch with police. do not hold back. fight corruption!

I completely agree with you on this Doctor...i had been to his clinic seeking advice on Derma roller (as my previous doc - Manjunath Shenoy has preffered low cost treatment - Derma roller) instead he said he would prefer Laser treatment that would cost upto 12k, but he said he will reduce the cost if i would agree for the treatment...since derma roller is of no use and this roller can cause more scars on face..I was scared for my face as i had many scars, acnes and pimples all over..(before taking treatment one of his staff who is my best frends schoolmate..she had messaged my friend to not to visit him for treatment since he provides unnecessary mediacal treatment, but when i called her up she said please dont say this to anyone as she may loose job there, so i had to keep quiet..and i goolged to look for his profile and it said President of Dermatogist Association so my heart said he is ok) But this fellow Pai charged me 14k instead and said there are no further sessions required and said scars would be reduced completely..but after one week i found no changes on my face except my skin on face was sagged...again when i visited him .he spoke to me harshly saying my skin type is different and again i should go for derma roller sessions which would be low cost and said i should start on the same day..The same person who had said Derma roller is of no use for my skin, this time after charging 14k he says derma roller is good..So fake Doctor he is...I would never ever again visit this person..I have now started visiting my old Dr. Shenoy..its been one year now..and i am on Derma roller..i could see the changes..the scars have been reduced, no acne or pimples, glow and it has also lifted my skin on face..I am so happy i am visiting Dr. Shenoy now..

To each his own. I am not trying to say you don’t have a right to form an opinion based on your experience, but I have got to put forth my own too. Please note my issue was not aesthetic rather of medically urgent in nature, and for my 4 yo son. He had been suffering with severe eczema all over his body( face literally weeping from crusty wounds and rest of the body perpetually covered in bandages to keep him from scratching). I somehow managed to bring him to India as I had little faith left in American doc/ specialists/ allergists, who nearly took my child off every food in the name of allergens. I wished to try alternative meds( homeo or ayurved) but none would work because his system had become so dependent on steroids.
I was nearly giving up when while visiting Mumbai I heard of Dr. Pai from a distant contact. She spoke with me at length and assured me I should take my boy to see him and that he is ‘SKIN GOD’. I couldn’t pass up the chance of my son feeling even remotely better and went alone for a day trip to Mangalore.
When I first called his Clinic I was amazed to hear Dr. Ganesh take his own calls, directly, every time and responding as promptly as possible. He helped me arrange my time such that it would fit between my arrival and return.
There was a wait for seeing him, but so worth it. He took time to listen to every single concern I had, he saw all paperwork and medicines I carried with me to show for treatment my Son got thus far.
Just talking to him calmed this frustrated and highly anxious mother to a great degree. My son’s condition improved rapidly since the first dose of his meds. He has had minor flare ups every now and then, but Dr. Pai unlike many other doctors has always been accessible and always available even via watsapp. There have been instances where after a consultation he did not even charge me any fees. I visited his once more and every experience with him has only made me think higher of him, not only as a Doctor but even as a person. He truly has been a ‘Godsend’ and this is not just a review but in fact a heartfelt note of thanks and ode to this wonderful person. He knows his work and he does it with compassion.
