Sir,
I am working in Computer Science Department of Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering, Vanchuvancherry, nearer to Padappai. Due to my marriage arrangement I could not continue my service there. So, after completing all the works allotted to me in the current semester, I gave resignation notice of 3 months period(as per the college norms), 2 month before(17/09/08).
On Monday (06/10/08), my Principal and HOD told me to get relieved from the college and telling to pay 2 months salary for getting all my certificates (including my B.E., degree certificate, which I gave them as proof).Even they hold my previous month salary. They haven’t mentioned this at the time of joining or in any document they gave me. Even I didn’t sign any bond with them.
I waited for two days(07/10/08 & 10/10/08), till now their response was not good & made me to sit at the reception. Also told not to sign records for students. But got all my no
dues cleared.
My brother also accompanied with me on 10/10/08. Even they responded him badly and told him to get out of college .I asked them politely, “Even I didn’t get relieving order from you. So I’m still your employee, and why you made me to sit at reception”. My principal replied, “Then you want me to make you sit outside the security gate”.
At the last, I even asked them I will give my 2 month salary to get certificates, but I need written statement or bill for that. They replied, ” No, we won’t give bill. Also we will give your certificates, only when we want to give”.
I tried to meet my Chairman, but told he is not willing to talk with me.
My Principal is also not doing anything favor of me. My HOD has major role in this issue.
It’s a mental torture for me. Same they are doing for another staff also. Don’t know what to do and whom to approach. Please consider this letter and give me a solution.
Also I want to know whether they can hold my degree certificate and my previous month salary?
