I am a resident of Medavakkam,Chennai. Very frequently electricity goes off and i am struggling a lot to live in this area. After calling more than 25 times, the EB person takes the call in a very cool temperament, answers me that, Current will come in 10 Mins and once after answering me he will put the receiver down and no other questions we can ask him. They create more frustration for us. The reason they say sometime is also very stupid, "because of summer the current is dropping". The same reason i get in winter also as "because of winter the current is dropping". Though there are some technical reasons behind that, but i just want to know in curiosity that, will it be the same for other areas like gopalapuram and mount road. Is there not any proficient workers in our EB department to take care of this sort of issues. I do not know when will this issue be sorted out. In the other hand government is saying we are giving more power to the state. Where the hell all the power goes???? Just because of annoyance i am posting this and i know very well that none of the higher officials are going to see my post here. If anybody could tell me the higher officials contact, it will be of great use. I am planning to get signature from all the residents of medavakkam and take it to the higher officials.
