you can study in EIILM university in sikkim or any of its affiliated colleges in sikkim but the university hasn't got the right to affiliate any colleges outside sikkim. so please be careful. http://www.ugc.ac.in/notices/publicnotice.pdf

yes it is ugc approved i am also students of eiiltm. first me not satisfied.but collect info from RTI. it is 100% ugc approved university.
