[Resolved]  Electricity Bill Payment Counter - Kovilambakkam, Chennai — Unavailability of Service

Sir,

For Kovilmbakkam and Nanmangalam area of Chennai, electricity bill counter is situated in Kovilambakkam. The person sitting at the counter seems to very irresponsible. Sometimes it takes more than a week to pay for a bill. Everyday, we are answered as "Computer is out of service" or "Your usage data is not updated into online register" like that. For the last one week, I am trying to settle by electricity bill, but in vain.
Please take appropriate action to improve the service of this center.

Even today (April 5th, 2014) the same situation exists in Kovilambakkam EB. I applied for a new EB connection and the lady in the counter had typed my initial as R instead of P. The EB officials are refusing to process my application due to the mistake by counter staff. When I asked them to fix this, they are saying that network is down for past few days and they can't fix this. Hope Amma will blame DMK for the network down and illiterate staff at counter.
It is high time govt should mandate a tleast 10th std pass for people working in EB counter and just not give job offers to whoever donates more to AmmaDMK.
