Very true . This has happened agsin today. The current went off at 1 am and it is nearing 4 in the morning, the current has still not come . The mosquitoes and the heat add to this making a peaceful sleep a distant dream .

They are really not working, we are facing frequent Power cut in this Urapakkam Arul Nagar, if we call Local Land line, every time line is busy or out of service, some times we are getting out of service tone and if we try again, Line is ringing, how come is this possibile, we really dont know.
Today Aug 15th (Independence Day), I am just writing complaint at around 2.30 midnight, today power has gone 8.30 in the morning and if we ask EB local office, they told there was the problem in Over Loading, every time they are telling some excuses like this only. then Power has come around 2.30 in the afternoon, again Power has gone frequently around 3 O clock, 3.30, 4 O clock in the evening,
Again now Power cut in the midnight, we are really facing issues and children not able to sleep properly and cant able to go to School in the morning without proper sleep. we are also paying the same EB Unit fee what ever the slab they are charging in the City areas, then WHY we only have to face this issue, we are not Human being or are they treating us some thing like other
when will we get proper solution and proper sleep at night, Please Please Please take some serious steps towards this and solve the problems at the earliest. other wise we will be in big trouble and we will escalate this issue to CM. Let CM answer our queries!!!

This is a very genuine complaint I'm sure thousands of people residing at Urappakam would have . The electricity board of the area is very irresponsible and annoying . They cut the power as and when they want with no pre decided schedule or duration . All this happens at odd hours of the day as well making life all the more difficult .

Please do something about this before the residents take up the matter into their hands and situation goes out of control. Yesterday there was an angry mob outside the electricity board.

Yesterday night also the power shutdown was there in urapakkam. It is making our life very difficult and our entire day is getting spoiled.
No action taken till now with these complaints, i don't know why to provide these options to give complaints if there is no person to take action.thousands of people suffering and wasting there time to complaint.With these unscheduled power cuts for sure people will turn mad.Only to post comment its not working.As of now People are requesting.Plz take some action before things go violent.Just think how a family with one month baby and 80 years old parents. -Venkat Ramesh.V (Venkatramesh.[protected]@gmail.com)
Yes it's very true. today (Jan 9th 2013 ) 9 to 5 power maintenance but there is no power up-to 9 PM.

I am staying at urapakkam for the past 8 years... no proper roads.. no proper hospital facilities.. worst during rainy days... Full of thieves, drunkards and brokers.. everyhouse has a broker.. Since we are not able to buy property in good area we landed in buying property here.. FATE... No need to mention about power cuts and mosqitoes... some time power will be there and always mosqitoes..
I am living in Krishnapuri, Adhanur. EB is Urapakkam. The power supply is worse. Everyday the voltage is so low and not able to operate grinder mixie etc. We took 3-phase connection but there is power only on 2 lines. Complaint done to EB office and they said they will come and see. After more than 5 times calling, still they have not come.

Every now and then there is power cut. We can see lights in Jawaharaiya nagar next road but we will be in dark. No one in Urapakkam EB office is working properly. All staff should be transferred.

I am living in( kannadhasan nagar main road Dhalakshmi nagar), Adhanur. EB is Urapakkam. The power supply is worse. Everyday the voltage is so very very very...low and not able to operate grinder FAN, AC, FRIDGE, some time ac and fridge fualt . please please please ..correct this issues.
Hi I'm Mani staying in gurunanesh nagar adhanur. Road is very bad condition and also the power cut. If rain starts they ll disconnect the power immediately. The full nit power will not come. please take any actions and the eb number also it's not in use.
