[Resolved]  Figura Fashion — NEVER delivered items, bad service

I placed an order in April with these fools. Their website is tattooed all over the place that they ship in 10-20 days. With that said, I realized that I would need to give them appropriate measurements and enough time to make it perfect. I was paying top dollar for what I wanted and they promised me time and time again that I would get exactly what I want.

When I was just shopping and emailing them to get more information, they were VERY helpful and responsive. A month after I paid and ordered my outfit, I had not heard from them. I informed them I would need the dress by the end of June. They promised me over and over that I would get it by June 21st. Then it never came. No emails no calls no correspondence. So, I emailed them. Again, no response. I called. Their phones were turned off. They never answer.

Two weeks before my wedding, and about 50 emails later (all my emails), they informed me that they got an oil stain on my dress from the sewing machine and their quality control department would not let it ship. They informed me that they are making another and working around the clock and that I would get it by the end of JULY. Now, I'm ticked off and very upset. I proceeded to post comments on their YouTube channel to inform others NOT to purchase from them. They blocked me as a user and can no longer post for other consumers.

I emailed them last week to let them know they missed my engagement date and my wedding date. I need the outfit for my sisters wedding and now, they will miss that too. I am left to purchase a dress twice the amount that I paid them. Now I am out of a dress, money, time, and a lot of efforts to get this dress to me in ample time. I believe four months is ENOUGH time to fix a problem and send it to me, especially when they kept promising me and not telling me what was going on. If you read their emails you will think it's a joke. Their emails are about three words long with information useful to a deaf cow (if that).

I am disappointed and very upset. I was left without an outfit on my WEDDING DAY. I had a lot of faith in what they said. The night before the wedding, I had to go shopping. And now, before my sisters wedding.

I'd love to see what these have to say in rebuttal to my complaint. I have every email from them. It's ridiculous.

My only advice to anyone is DO NOT PURCHASE from FiguraFashion. UtsavSarees has been nothing but a walk in the park. They ship on time as advertised, they send perfection, they respond to emails within 12 hours and they answered every single one of my phone calls. Figura Fashion should be, and will be sued.

I had a similar incident with these disgusting individuals. I ordered a bridal shalwar kameez in March 2011 which cost be £250. Luckily this was not intended for my wedding day, but nevertheless this was a purchase that I had made with my hard earned money - whenever I sent figura an email they replied with lame excuses such as the warehouse burnt out and that they are waiting to send the dress...which is just a pathetic excuse. I am not sure how to progress with my complaint as I would like to see it further and would like to see these taken to court.
I am sorry to hear they were crooks to you also. I am still battling the issue with these . I haven't gotten my refund or my dress and I'm at a true loss.
This is simply outrageous!! How can a company have the ability to continue trading and conning customers - who have worked hard to pay for outfits which they hope will be delivered on such a special occasion?

A wedding day? And they don't even have the simple courtesy to either send the ordered product or give the customer the heads up that something has gone wrong and give them a refund? I am also a fellow sufferer of 'Figura Fashion' which should change their name to 'Figura Fraud'. This company should not continue trading. People should complain to their credit card companies - to stop this fraud.

I ordered an outfit in August - it is now December...and guess what? Nothing!! It was also for a wedding - but obviously I had to wear something else. Had it been for my own wedding, I'm not sure what I'd do - I deeply sympathise with you all who havee had this despair.

I am a customer from the U.K. and have ordered items from Saree World online - no problems with them at all. Great site - great turn around times. This on the other hand is just one big joke.

I hope this customer forum does something about these complaints as I am now very put off buying anything online from India and will ensure others hear of my experience. It gives other good companies a bad name.
They are doing the exact same thing to me right now. I cannot tell you how pissed off i am. I ordered 2000 USD worth of stuff from these a**holes and they are not even responding to me. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. The wedding is in a week and i have not gotten any of my cltohes. I cannot believe that they are still operating. I am beyond mad and feel helpless. I should not have trusted these ppl.

They were responsive only up until the order was placed. After that i kept getting one lines responses. They are truly a**holes.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE . YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DRESS OR YOUR MONEY BACK.
Do NOT get anything from these con artists. All they do is repeatedly make excuses and further delay providing you with whatever you may have ordered. This place is NOT real. don't even think about getting anything from these pieces of garbage.

They are liars and theives.

I wasted several thousand dollars on these people. Something needs to be done to prevent this from happening to other people. they should be shut down and put in prison.
Figura Fashion is a complete joke and a complete con. Don't think of going to Figura Fashion for anything, you will only lose all your $. I want to make sure that people never fall prey to the same con that i did.

I wrote paypal to complain and they say that Buyer Protection Programs require a dispute to be filed in the Resolution Center within 45 days of payment, if a dispute is filed 45 calendar days or more after the initial transaction, PayPal won't investigate the dispute. But Paypal say that they do reserve the right to reopen any claim for investigation within 180 calendar days if we receive multiple complaints about a particular seller, so if anyone has complain about figura fashions I suggest all of you to file a dispute in the Resolution Center even it has passed for months, the more complaints against figura fashion paypal receive the more possibility they will reopen claim for investigation and the more possibility that we can get our money back, and the most important to stop them from cheating people again, so it really worth a try. They really should be stopped!
