Please be clear if the requirements were clear from your end at the time of purchase. As much I know of Focus, its a standard packaged application and can be implemented properly if the requirements are clear from user end. If you bought it thinking it can be customized totally, its not correct. It can be implemented with customization possible within the structure of the applicaiton.

Dear Shilpa Pandit,
you are giving wrong information, you had purchased basic software and the same was implemented at your end. you visited our client Bitsy Infotech who is using our ERP version and is of the similar industry (Hardware Vendor) and wanted the system to be implemented the way it is being used in Bitsy which was clarified with you and you were not ready to buy ERP version which is being used in Bitsy.

I believe there should be many implementations of Focus Softnet software in the market. If anyone is checking on the net for the credibility of Focus Softnet and whether they would get here. But I know some of the implementers and have heard some complaints and I agree that they are not ethical in their practices.
If anyone else has had issues with this company then they should come forward, meet up and deal with them jointly. I am sure that many customers that have ended up paying much more in terms of time and money, than they had initially expected to spend on their ERP. That is because they have no clarity at the initial stages and once they have started implementing it get too late.
The thing you have to watch out for with this company is - they first tell you that everything is possible with their software - which absolutely isnt the case - they they charge you for customization which I hear more than quadruples the cost of the software. You will realize that they haven't really explained the concept of the customizations at the begining.
The features dont really work correctly either and they will tell you to take it or leave it - i.e. after they have taken your money and you have spent a lot of time trying to implement their product right!!! . And dont expect any help from their seniors. Like Shilpa said and as sajid has replied, he may have shown courtesy in his language here. In reality they use pretty rough language.
If you still want to go ahead with their software. First get a working demo installed at your end, the way you would want it set up. Check the features carefully. Get a technical consultant or a friend to help you and confirm details for you. you will save yourself a lot many things - peace of mind, grief, money. You mostly will change your mind at this stage. You should ensure that you have given them the requirements clearly and whatever you have asked of them is clearly documented. This will follow with an agreement that minor changes will be acceptable in the future. Have the payment break up staggered correctly. If you are not getting fify percent of your money's worth in the beginning then why should you pay them that much. Make sure that everything you will get is in simple language that you understand clearly. They try to fool you with language that you would not understand. The sad part is that they build your trust till you have paid them that initial huge amount and after that they do an absolute about turn in character.
Don't trust them for a single penny worth!!! You should get what you paid for.
Do not sign any document for confirmation of completion of tasks till you are very clear that things are working correctly. Cross check relevant areas of their product after they make deliveries. Because when they make one delivery they tend to nearly always break something else. Do not give them any acceptance or a sign off. You DO NOT have to. You are paying for their product and they are not paying you to use their software. Their implementer who talk to you sweetly to get acceptances, will turn against you tomorrow.

Pathetic customer service ever experienced. false commitments, running around the bushes to take phone calls, throwing responsibilities on each other, creating new rules every time after implementation of software, all these are the USP of Focus Soft Net group.
Put your hand in it and you are sure to burn yourself..
