1. After continuous false promises by B.Venkateswara Rao, Agent Number : 00530800, Flat No.13, Beemavalley Apartments, Road No. 5, Banjara Hills, HYDERABAD -5, EMail : [protected]@yahoo.com, Phone:[protected], for more than one and half-years, I submitted a complaint to LIC.
2.After a very long time, I got an Email from Branch Manager of 800 Branch, asking me to provide a Medical Certificate to LIC to re-activate my lapsed policies.[Actually these policies are lapsed because of the negligence of Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao, and non-payment of premiums (in spite of taking from me) by Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao.]
3.Within next week, I underwent Medical Tests and faxed my Medical Reports to Branch Manager of 800 Branch . The Medical Tests costed me Two Hundred And Fifty United States Dollars only, which means nearly Ten Thousand Indian Rupees. All this was due to Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao, otherwise, I would not have to spend that money.
• So, when I informed Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao on Phone about this, He told me that he will pay back that amount as well to me.
• Whenever we can reach him by phone, He kept on saying that he will pay within 10 days.
• Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao DOES NOT EVEN HAVE THE MINIMUM COURTESY OF CALLING OR E-MAILING THE CUSTOMER AND INFORMING ABOUT THE STATUS.
• LIC GIVES HIM A TELEPHONE TO MAKE BUSINESS.THIS SAME Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao USED TO CALL AND ASK ABOUT OUR WELL-BEING, WHEN I WAS IN INDIA.
• SO, HE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE POLICY HOLDER BEING ABROAD.
• WHEN ASKED WHY HE IS NOT RESPONDING TO EMAILS, HE SAID, HE DOES NOT KNOW TO USE EMAILS.AND, IF HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE EMAILS, WHY DID HE CREATE AND GIVE US HIS EMAIL ID?
• AND, IF HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE EMAILS, HE CAN ATLEAST ASK SOME OTHER PERSON TO HELP HIM SEND AN EMAIL TO ME.
4. Then, I PAID FROM MY POCKET, THE PREMIUMS FOR THE LAPSED POLICIES and got them re-activated. I faxed a letter for the reactivation, addressing the Branch Manager, to My Father-in-law, and My Father-in-Law sent that letter to Branch Manager.
5. I got My MoneyBack Policy Bonus Money, Thanks a lot For The Sincere Efforts of Branch Manager.
6. On 27/03/2008, I got an Email reply from CRM, asking me if I accept they want to close the complaint, since their records show that the premiums for the policies that were stated lapsed in my complaint No. 66156 dated 27/11/2007, appear to be paid and updated.
• What is this?
• Does not the LIC bother to at the least know who paid for reactivating the policies?
• It is really astonishing fact that LIC wants to close the complaint since those policies again became active, keeping their Agent with them, not worrying about the Policy Holder, not bothering to punish the Agent and have the money paid back to Policy Holder.

• Is The Money of Policy Holders safe if vested in LIC?
7. On 29/03/2008, I replied to CRM strongly saying that I paid from my pocket to reactivate my lapsed policies. That is it, no reply from CRM.
8. On 16/7/2008, I sent an Email to CRM & SDM for an update on the status of this. Still NO REPLY.
9. On 25/10/2008, I sent another EMAIL to CRM &SDM asking for update.
10. On 25/10/2008, I GOT AN EMAIL REPLY From SDM that they appointed Mr.Mohabuzzman, Marketing Manager, who will respond in a week. I got an Email from Mr.Mohabuzzman mm.[protected]@licindia.com, asking me for the details, that is it. No reply afterwards. He wont ask me for updates. I sent a reply asking Mr.Mohabuzzman whether he talked to Mr.B.Venkateswara Rao . There has been no reply, absolutely.
11. On 2/4/2009, I sent another Email to CRM, SDM, and Mr.Mohabuzzman, seeking the following :
• An update on the status of My Complaint
• Asking for NOT giving My Bonus Money for another policy from LIC which has been due since June 2008.
There is NO REPLY.
