Dear Sir
I would like to draw your attention to the open drain on the left side of G.T. Road (Mukand Nagar) when coming from Mohan Nagar.
The drain is clogged and overflowing with muck on the busy G.T Road posing a security and health risk. It is a breeding ground for Insects, Flies and Mosquitoes and an aid to spreading of Dengue and H1N1 virus.
The passage under the newly built flyover has become a place to urinate, defaecate and through garbage.
I appeal to the Civic and Health. authorities to undertake regular cleaning in the interest of Shoppers, Office goers, Motorists and prevent spread of Life threatening diseases.

GDA and ghaziabad Nagar Nigam — Illegal closure of gates on the roads of shalimar garden, ghaziabad
I want to say that there are two gates on both sides of gali having gate no.1 & 10 with plots no. 731-762 and 992-960 and the an association close one gate for 15 days and henders the road. Now I want to know-1. What is the policy to close such gates by association illegely?
2. Have there is any involvement of GMC/GDA in closure of these gates?
3. Why GMC does not stop such illegal activities by blocking a road, which is meant for passage of passengers?

I would like to inform you about burning the garbage example leaves. Yesterday, ie. 19th of may I was playing cricket on my terrace when I went inside my house for a minute and my friend said that he wants to drink water from his house I said go as he went out he shouted to call me as early as possible, I went out and saw an shameful sight, a lot of smoke coming out from a plot which was very near to my house, me and my friend ran to the boundry of the plots, my friend climbed the wall did'nt enter the plot and we started passing him stones to throw on the fire then we started throwing mud with the help of garbage thrown on mud we used the garbage as plates to lift mud the mud was helping a lot and my freind was also saying that we can not put off the fire but we still tried and tried and the was fire very less . Just then an elderly woman came and started shouting on us she was the lady whoom had put the fire on others plot to kill them mousqutiess in her hut . My adress is given at the bottom and I can recogonise her face and anybody to her as I know where she lives .

We are resident of Sector 4C (Pragya Kunj) of Vasundhra Ghaziabad, (U.P). For last two --three month water supply of Ghaziabd Nagar Nigam is highly contaminated which is mixture of sewage/drainage and smelling like human filth. Despite of repeated complaint by the resident of 4C problems of dirty water has not been sorted out. Peoples are at the risk of life threatening diseases in this summer season.
2.We tried to loldge throught net complaint but there is no provision of vasundhra zone in complaint website, so we were unable to complaint there.
3. You are kindly requested to sort this long pending complaint of the resident and save our life.

We are resident of Sector-2, Rajender Nagar. We are facing problems with the sweeper in this area. He is absent since last 4 days and has stopped the rash picker to pick the rash bags from 2/162 and 2/163. Just 2 month back also he did the same thing and when we spoke to him abt this he asked for Rs 1000 hike in his salary. We agreed to give 300 hike. Now again he is doing the same thing. He has been very rough in his bahaviour and insults anyone trying to tell him to work properly. In case we want to appoint some other sweeper he doesn't even even let them work in this block.Since last 2 1/2 yrs we have been adjusting with him but now he is taking us for granted.
Please take proper action or guide us what we can do in this case.

I would like to draw your attention towards the overflow of drainage in Shalimar garden Ext 2 near the area of Rajendar nagar Sec-2. It has become difficult to pass from this area, there is a huge problem of water logging and it has become a ground for mosquitoes and like an invitation to many diseases. Mostly suffered are the residents of plot no A-32, A-31. We don't even have the way to come out of the building and the foul smell of drainage has made it difficult to residents and passers.
Request you to take immediate actions towards the situation and make the area a living place for the residents.

Residents Welfare Association — garbage collection
Dear Sir,We cimplex consists of 156 flats and about 50 shops and offices on the main old airport road. Initially -since 1991- maids used to collect garbage from the residents they were working for, and throw it on the foot path. Despite best efforts we couldn't do much about that.
One day a Corporation officer approached and urged us to collect the garbage at one central place from where the Corporation vehicle (contractor's) will collect on daily basis.
The system worked for few years in a very appreciable manner. Our house keeping staff collects the garbage, puts it in the barrels and places next to our OUT gate which is about 7-10 yards away for the main road. Then -a few years back- our staff was approached and a demand of RS.500/- pm was made for the collection, About two years back they demanded 2, 000/- pm, We were left with no option but to approach the Corporation Health Department. A health officer was directed to meet under signed. He too promised that we don't have to pay for this collection and will also ensure proper action.
We did not pay for some months and there after a demand of RS. 500/- was raised. Our resistence disappeared when the garbage drums were not cleared till we accepted their demand. Since then we have been paying 500/- pm
Now the demand has again been raised to 2, 000/- pm with a threat that otherwise they will not collect our garbage.
You are requested to direct the concerned department to take suitable action or confirm that it is a legal demand and we have to pay.
