gigabyte motherboard — Delay in replacement

Address:South Goa, Goa

Dear Consumer Forum,
I have a similar complaint like that of Mr. Aboto ref :Posted:[protected] by aboto a. chophy.. I purchase a new Gigabyte Motherboard on the 7th of July 2010. I gave the board to the outlet where i purchased it from on the 23rd of Sept 2010 and they told me there is some heating problem and will be sent to the company which is located just 17 kms from the city and would take an maximum of 8-10 days.

I have been calling repeatedly and they keep saying that it hasn't come. Today, i.e the 11th of Oct 2010 when i asked them about the status, they said that the company repaired the motherboard and sent it to them 3 times and it still has the same problem so he has sent it again. They asked me to wait for another 2 days and then collect the motherboard and their invoices and go to the company and hopefully they will only give either my motherboard that is repaired or a other repaired motherboard as replacement.

The company gives a 3 years warranty with possible replacement. Now when the problem exists 3 times even before reaching the customer, i believe they are supposed to give a new one. Or rather they plan to give a repaired one and the customer keeps running around for 3 years and then they say the warranty is up and we cannot do anything..
