I am not sure of the approach of the person who gave the complaint.
I have personally been toGoethe-Zentrum, Coimbatore.
I did not find or feel anything like the complaints given. The staff, faculty are veryhelpful, in fact they went out of the way to discuss and answer all questions.
As about refund of fees when one has withdrwn from a course - the rules are very clear .
I feel that the person who has compained has a personal grudge against the institute.
I strongly recommend Goethe-Zentrum for all those who are keen on learning German

The comments or rather the complaint given by Mr Ashokb23 is baseless and totally incorrect. I have a feeling that it is more of a personal motive behind this childish 7immature comments
The remarks of Goethe-Zentrum, Coimbatore are as follows:
We agree that course got postponed once due to delay in arrival of the teacher from Germany (due to visa problems). All students registered for the course were intimated about the delay and fresh date of commencement of the course on time.
The candidate due to his own reasons could not join the course on time.
Since he missed three classes, he demanded that special classes be conducted for him as compensation classes as per his own timings – since we do not have provision to do so, we could not accept his request.
As the front office has to do the necessary paper work for getting the refund and since the process takes time he was requested to collect the fee next day. He was also informed that service tax could only be refunded after we get the refund from the tax authorities as per the standard procedure. The fee refund was collected by him within 5 working days and the tax refund was ready in mid January and the same has been intimated to him immediately.
As about his interaction with the front office, he has been provided with all information, procedures, rules & regulations of the organization as deemed to be necessary. The front office cannot answer or give opinion on matters not related with Goethe-Zentrum or functioning of the organization.
Goethe-Zentrum, on an average, receives more than 40-50 walk-in enquiries a week and about 100 enquiries through phone / emails. So far we have not given any opportunity for anyone to be dissatisfied with our service. We believe in giving our best to all people who approach us for German language Courses or anything about Germany - be it about higher studies in Germany, visa, Summer Camp for Children etc

Although we would not like to respond to the biased, immature & irrelevant claims made by the complainant, we in response would request all those who are interested in learning German Language, culture and those who need information on Higher Studies in Germany or procedures for German Visa, please come to our office, meet us, discuss with us, see for yourselves – we assure you will return fully satisfied.
