[Resolved]  hcl note book c9504 — Battery failure

I have been corresponding with your Service center and Customer care for the last 15 days on the replacement of the Battery. In fact the service center in Bangalore prepared a mannul job sheet when first tiem I took my note book for the battery proble. They kept my Note Book for 24 hrs observation aftre which concluded that the battery( purchased on 1st Feb 2010) is faulty. They promised me to replace the battery but took back the manual job sheet which they had prepared during the observation period.

Also, one your service center person form Delhi called up on 5th evening and said no online registartion of the complaint has been made by Bangalore and as such he has no knowledge of the battery problem. He also confirmed to me that he will resolve the issue on 6th. But I have neither got any communication from Delhi nor Bangalore. Issue has been dragged beyond the limit and I am afraid the customer service quality is left much to be desired.

Question here is:

1. Why Bangalore service center did not give me the online complaint number &.why did they do manual job sheet and took back the same when Note book was returned after 24 hour observation ?
2. Will it take more than 15 days to replace the faulty battery ?

3. Why no responsible person gives answers at Banaglore Service cetner ?

I am put into lot of difficulties in view of the non functioning of the Battery purchased in Feb 2010.

I would request you to replace the Battery at the earliest.
