Dear sir/madam, I am alok Donger and i purchased a laptop of your company from Lotus Electronics on 23/07/2008.Product Details are as follows.Machine SR No.:-A074AX172027PRODUCT CODE:- AX0P2801Product DESC.:-HCL NOTEBOOK P28 PDCPROBLEM WITH PRODUCT:-This is third time when i facing a same problem that is "Display is not working" i visited to your service center at indore for three time.Now i request to you that please replace my laptop as i already facing a problem and i have no time to visit again n again to your service center because i am working 4 a company 150km away from your service center I hope you will understand the problem and i am waiting for your kind response within 24 Hrs. then i will file a case with Consumer Forum .

Hi,

I recently purchased a 2nd Hand Laptop of HCL i.e. HCL P28 PDC laptop in Oct, 2008. It was working fine till the month of March, 2009. But in the month of April 2009 suddenly its screen gone. The laptop is working, if connect my laptop to other external monitor or LCD i can see the whole screen, but my laptop screen is not iluminated. i mean to say that laptop is working & but screen is not appear. what to do.

I too agree i bought my laptop on the month of october 2008 but upto today two times my display has gone and battery is not at all standing problem with most of the features whom i have to contact for this kind of problems who will resolve all of my issues.

hcl company is a bloody cheap company...
i request all the viewers that never trust on HCL product..
i bought my hcl P28 PDA note book in august 2008 and since then its speakers are not working properly...
dear viewers HP and compaq notebooks are best...

HCL india kaa chore number one. Jabse laptop liya hai Service center k chakkar kaat rha hoon, ghar se jayda to laptop service center mein rahta hai, choro ki company band honi chahiye.

Yes I agree that. I believe, this it the worst model in HCL. I brought it a year ago in February 2008. After one month, I got battery problem, then after six months I got button problems, then after one year inverter problem. Even, the customer care service is not good. So, I recommend for those who are willing to buy a P28 PDC, please think before you buy the HCL laptop, particularly this model.

The only problem I have faced in the last one year is the battery backup. My battery is as good as dead now. Otherwise, the machine is working beautifully. I run design and pro audio softwares on my machine - only I put 2GB RAM in it

iam agree with all these people.iam also very upset to buy this HCL notebook.this is the worst model .I have requested everyone plz dont buy HCL product.

Hcl notebook P28 PDC — Shutting down problem

Hello Sir,
I have HCL Laptop its Machine Sr. No. Is 7084AX032339 & Product Code is AXCP2819. my problem is when i turn off my laptop it hangs on the screen Shutting Down for long time (approx 2 hours). that means it will not shut doen on its own.To do the same i have to press the power key for 3 sec. then only it shuts down.

please give me the responce as soon as possbile

mishandling ke karan he app sab ko problem aa rahi hai.

if you use hcl p28 on inverter or use with local accessiores like battery, adaptor it can create big problem.
there is only one company who provide 24*7 days phone support which is HCL.

pls don't mind but have also having hcl P28 and it has only adaptor problem which has happen due to use on invertor.
