[Resolved]  Honda - Cb Unicorn — Low mileage & Starting problem

Dear sir,

I am Envin Heyence A.F, 23years old. I have bought an new Honda CB Unicorn bike on February 25th by exchanging my old bike Bajaj CT 100, from Muthoot Honda branch in Palarivattom, Ernakulam. I have paid paid balance in cash and loan. Within 1st week i found out that i got only 38km per litre mileage and also there is missing on starting every time i start after 2,3 hours. So i asked where i bought it. They said it will be OK after 1st service of the bike. But nothing happened and mileage reduced to 36km instead. They said same thing again. After 2nd service too, no change. so i complained to my dealer, he asked to check my bike in service center (near Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor) . They said the problem is solved. But i checked mileage in 2 days . It shows "32km". I drove and checked the way exactly they said. I am the only earning person in my home, and i can't afford to drive my bike with low mileage when the petrol price has increased now.

I got 60km mileage on the bike which i exchanged to them. I exchange it because i have back pain problems with it. I bought CB Unicorn when i heard from the dealer that it has 55km mileage and great power and comfortable riding, but i am not getting the 1st two. They cheated me and i don't get good reply from them.

Please do the needful to change my complained bike with a good performing one

Yes,
Almost similar problem with my bike also. I done with 7K Km and completed all free servuces. Every time they say the problem is solved. But jerking or missing issue is siver in my bike.
I ma from Bangalore, purchased bike from Saphere Honda.
They not even understant the issue to rectify it.
Unicorn bike is good. But if you get some issue, you have to throw away it. Worst service by the people

Hi all,
Finally I got rectified my problem from Saphire Honda. The problem was with Carb, they changed it under Warranty.
Super service from them, changed a lot. SP thanks to Service manager Nassir Hussain. If you have similar problem you can meet him.

Honda cb unicorn bike is good but have some issues which are persisting again and again like drive chain loose frequently and making noise which not sounds good and milage issue which is not more than 40km/L . Dear sir can you suggest sone solutions except going to dealer workshop which are pathetic in terms of service manners in my city. Request you to provide some sort of solution I m waiting.
