[Resolved]  Honda Unicorn Dazzler — Gearbox Defect

I am writing this complaint regarding the gear box defect of my newly purchased Honda Unicorn Dazzler. It has only been 4 days since the delivery (07 that I have encountered gear shifting problems between the N,1st and 2nd gear! I have reported this problem to the Honda Service Station. Despite their effort in identifying the problem, they did some adjustments with the clutch according to their claim and one of their service personnel told me that if the problem persist i must report in the morning and they will do something about it. I even cleared the doubt with him regarding whether this problem was minor and if it was common with new bikes. To this he denied saying that it shouldn't happen even rarely.i.e it should be completely proper with the shifting. After driving off from the service station i still wasn't satisfied as the problem still continued. I decided to report early morning the day after which was today. After booking for the complaint, i paid a visit in the afternoon to see the status and conclusion of the problem. It seemed that it was ready to take away. I was surprised because the personnel had told me that it would take at-least two days to repair the gear box. I inquired with the service man who was dealing with my bike and what he had to say was completely the opposite of what the personnel had told me the other day. This Service worker told me that it was actually a common thing for new bikes. He added that after completing 1000kms the gear shifting will be fine. He assured me that there was no problem with the gear box. It was a problem with the clutch and so he adjusted it (again). Even after that i still wasn't convinced with his words now that either of the service men are giving me two different explanations. I am deeply disappointed with this sort of behavior from a company that I had been trusting from its talks and values guaranteed by them through media.
I will be very grateful if my complaint is taken care of and that it will be treated as a top priority by whoever this complaint will concern to.

Hi Royson D'souza... i too have gone through this trouble with my CB-Unicorn which i purchased in mangalore 2011 . i had visited their showroom more than five times and almost 3 services done. Honda service stations are hopeless and they are not able to come up with a real solution for the gear shift with N, 1st and 2 nd. service manager promised me that it may work fine after 5000kms. now my vehicle had done 9000kms and problem still persists.I started complaining repeatedly and i have taken the matter to the service manager but he acted very diplomatic and his body language was like they cannot do anything more about this. I really pity honda's Service.

I have same problem with honda unicorn . there is problem in shifting gear from 1st to 2nd gear. I complained about the issue to the honda service center. They opened the gear box and clutch box trice time but the problem could not resolve.If you get any solution please let me know .
