I am the resident of VIVEK Bihar Phase –V, a Biggest Housing Complex of South Howrah having 450 flats (Approx). The Promoter & Developer sold out the properties with wrong commitment. Though the construction work completed since 5 years No community Hall is there, No Play ground, Zim is there, which is committed on paper during the selling of property. The promoter have been giving threatens to individuals who tries to raised voice against him and his activities’ I would draw you kind attention that there is no compliance of environmental law, West Bengal Fire Act etc. Even if in case of any accidents it is too difficult to survive as there is no suitable out lets for entrance and exist. Now the promoter is extending his construction work with the help of law . Every day people are opposing him. Already we taking the help of law but nothing is proceeds on properly. We all residents of the above complex are in a fear state that any moment of time any unsocial activites may takes place. So I am begging your justice and pray to intervene in the above matter to stop any future inconvenience. Our association namely Howrah Vivek Vihar (Phase-V) Welfare Association (Registered Under : W.B.Society Registration Act 1961 No. S/1LI34058) had complained to West Bengal Pollution Control Board and West Bengal Fire Department vide letter dtd.05.02.2011 but till date no any action taken by the departments. A General diary had been lodged by our association at Sibpur Police Station on 11.12.2011 with mass signature.
Our Association also prayed to Howrah Municipal Corporation for permanent cancillation of sanction plan for additional floor construction on exiting G+5 building but no any golden result come out till date.
Our association has already pleaded in the court of law and its been 12 months we didn’t receive any judgement on the same. The case is still going on in the court and the promoters work of construction of the said complex is going on in full swing although the matter is pending befor law. We request you to help us to stop the construction till the final judgement is out.
As you know very well, promoters and developers are very rich and powerful and they get support from everywhere .

If any people of the complex is going to raise voice against him very next day a case U/s -144 (2)-Crpc
Serve to him. Till date total 21 (Twenty one) Persons including me are suffering with the case.
Madam, I am in deep pain along with my family member even if my self not able to concentrate on day to day life. On 10.12.2011 and 12.12.2011, I lodge online complain to honourable chief minister of west Bengal and on next day on 13.12.2011 I receive a notice u/s-144(2)-Crpc vide serial no. M.P No.2139 through Sibpur Police Station.
Today’s situation is that a single person of the complex is not ready to raise his/her voice due to fear of promoters and developers. Was this information helpful? |
