The whole idea of a distance education program is to encourage those who have limited flexibility with time and distance. Thanks for making this program available to us, but please deliver on your promises. I kept mine by paying upfront for the course and completed the sessions.. The only part I was unable to fulfill was appear for the second semester exams.. I could not because I was travelling..
I need to know a final answer from you before I take any action… What are my options ?

Chaitali,
I know that EPBM 9 got over in 2008 and as I was travelling I could not attend the exams in 2008. I was never given the option of appearing for the exam along with EPBM10 in Feb 2009.
As you can see from the trail of mail below, I have been following up since February 2009 asking for the options I have.
Why didn’t anyone tell me about it then? Why did I have to wait 9 months to get this answer?
Are you asking me to write off 1.5 Lakhs I paid for this course and not be given any alternative !!!

Dear Vikram,
Please note that EPBM 9 got over in the year 2008. You had the option of appearing for the examinations with EPBM10. Also, another round of makeup examinations were held in February, 2009 for all participants of EPBM 1 to 10 to give participants an opportunity to complete the programme. We did not receive any input from you during that time.
As per the Institute’s decision all participants of EPBM 1 to 10 who have failed to clear the examinations by February, 2009 will be treated as dropouts.
We regret to inform you that as per the above decision you will not be awarded any certificate.

I could not complete my question as the line was bad and you could not hear me.
My call was regarding the second semester exams which I could not appear for. I was out of India when we had the exams and I could not complete the semester exams. The other problem is, Iam relocating to Europe in couple of weeks and when I called up Hughes Direcway, they asked me to get in touch with you to find out what options I have now.
I will be out of India for atleast 2 years and it is important that I have this certification for the MBA course I attended. I did attend the classes, only I could not appear for the exams.
Can something be done in my case?
