InfoTech Services — Air Cargo Shipment Delay for over 20 days

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is in respect to a Air Cargo for 2 Pkgs booked with Jet Airlines from Los Angles (LAX) to Mumbai (BOM) on 11th December 2009. The Cargo was booked with Jet Airways as they had given ETA as 14th December 2009.

We needded this cargo before X'mass as it was meant for a X'mass event in Goa.

Then the delay began with Jet Airways with new dates of Arrival given as 18th December, 23 December, 27 December, 31st December 2009. Finally the shipment came in on 1st January 2010 but that was on 1 Pkgs.

We have been advised today that the balance 1 Pkgs should come in on 3rd January 2010.

DURING THIS 22 DAYS PERIOD I HAVE BEEN PERSONALLY FOLLOWING THIS CARGO WITH JET AIRWAYS INTL. CARGO DIVISION IN MUMBAI ON PHONE & EMAIL AND THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS EXCEPT WE HAVE MADE REQUEST TO OUR BRUSSELS OFFICE. THEY COULD NOT CONFIRM THE DATES OF SHIPMENT ARRIVAL AND JUST SAID YOU NEED TO WAIT TILL YOUR CARGO ARRIVES.

I have emails written to Jet Airways Mumbai Cargo Office, Brussels Cargo Office, Toronto Cargo Office and many more officials all connected with this cargo shipment. I have also spoken to many persons in Jet Cargo Office like Elisa / Padma / Suleman etc. and I must they are all helpless and they make false promises and misguide & mislead the client.

I would say with such a bad experiance with a airline which calls itself the best airline in INDIA, please do think 100 times to even book cargo with them.

I was treated like a passanger who has been issued a airway ticket to fly from Toronto to Mumbai but has been told that you cannot board the flight at the last minute and is not sure of when they could allow me to board the flight.

I have been put to the peak of mental stress and have incurred a major monetarry loss because of Jet Airways careless behaviour.

I would be greatful to any authority which will look into this fiasco and penalise Jet Airways that they do not behave in such a manner in future with any other client and do not mislead their customers and make there lives hell.
