[Resolved]  Jaguar Faucets — Company not honouring warranty

we have purchased sensor tap (Jaguar) of Rs. 9000/- each in january this year, , total no of tap are 42.
most of them are dead by two month. but there is no any solution given by the company.

My builder fitted all jaguar taps, faucets. Now they are not working. there is very bad customer support. Why company not spend money for 24x7 consumer complaint support if they are charging so much for their products.

I complaint thrice and I manage to get support only once. Problem ot their product is local pumbler is not able to fix their taps.

do not buy jaguar products. they are not worth their price.

This shows that the company that spends most on advertising is probably neglecting product quality and after-sales service.

I have also learnt a bitter lesson with Jaguar.

Can somebody suggest a better brand for, say, health faucets. I mean those hand-held bidets (health taps) that come with
a hose and are placed on a wall-holder after use. Which is the best brand? I want brass, not ABS.

Isenberg health faucets are the best. I have been using them since 3 years in both my bathrooms. After installing both, one of them was leaking. I called their toll free customer service. The very next day an Isenberg technician came home and adjusted a washer inside which had moved during installation. Since then they work beautifully. They're made of brass, not ABS.

I am facing issues with Jaquar flushing systems. It claims to have a 7 year warranty but every time I am being asked to pay Rs. 1850 for a small part which costs about Rs. 90-100 in open market. Everytime they have the same reason that the water quality is bad. If a flushing system can't handle water, then its completely useless. Because of the monopoly, I can't replace it with any other company part. On top of that they don't provide a proper bill. What they give is just a useless cash memo. No resolution has been provided despite repeated complaints. The misleading warranty comes under the section 36A of IPC and evasion of VAT comes under Maharashtra MVAT act 2002. I will pursue legal action against them.

I purchased a product of Jaquar Hand Shower (Health Faucet) with 1 metre Flexible Tube. Product Code ALD-CHR-573. It is damaged within WARRANTY PERIOD. But the parts are NOT replaced by the company FREE OF COST. Only service (Labour Charege) is free. Warranty card does not state the hidden fact.

I also facing terrible experience from cervece centre Ernakulam no[protected] need money for cervece because they keeping parts from Jaguar by paid so they are paying cervece only doing ...so what I have to do...

the 10 & 7 year warranty clauses provides warranty on product/component/parts and they are charging for part even under warranty period, this is unfair.

I have bought bath room fittings and kitchen fawcets / taps of Jaquarcompany make. One of the kitchen fawcet has started leaking. I approached the dealer and informed the leakage problem as the item is about a year old. The dealer took the complaint and told me that he will ask the Jaqur people to attend the complaint. I receive the call from the Jaquar servicing ajency and tells me that if i do not posses the purchase bill I will have to pay the service charge.I buy the so called prestigious Jaquar company"s expensive faucet and within a year it starts leaking. The dealer reports the matter to the Jaquar servicing agency and the agency is asking the purchased item bill with me.I do not understand why the servicing ajency is asking for the purchase bill from me rather than the dealer who has sold the item to me and who has forwarded the complaint. Now i feel sorry for buying Jaquar product which doesnt last even one year and asking for the service charge

Diverter functioned well for 1 year. Then its shower nob is not working well. Then its lever got out. Shower nob got repaired and after that water leakage started from diverter. I had to raise 4 complaints in just 1 month. At 4th time he said leakage is common. You have to change Cartrage if you want leakage to stop and it will cost rs 900. After lots of arguments and phone calls he changed its viser and make bill of 50rs. We refused to pay saying its under warranty then he says we will not visit again on your complaints.
And said that you have to pay for every part and only labour is free. Your last service (shower nob not working fine) is also chargeable why that guy did it for free.. ...seriously...
While selling there products they say 10 years warranty with so much proud. And then every thing is chargeable...

Technician told me to change cartridge of rs 900 if you want to stop leakage. Otherwise leakage is common and happens with every diverter. No big deal. No issue to resolve.
I found cartridge details in jaguar brochure that it gives long and trouble free operating life upto 20 years. I attached img also.

Don't go for so called prestigious jaguar health faucets.
All they do is to rob you in name of warranty.
