Not only this college many colleges are asking huge donation
You are right...this is the worst college in india...all fake placements & if any company recruit any student then they will expel him out in 5-6 months...
Sometimes they also don't give the security money of the pass out students...& this jaypee noida is also working very hard to get the government approval...
Don't take admission in this college...

i think the above comments are totally rubbish. jiit us backed by the jaypee group of companies which is a engineering tycoon. It constructed the longest ever expressway in india and also hosted india first ever f1 race.moreover its founder shri jai prakash gaur is among the top 50 richest men in india 2012 according to forbes magazine and he is one of the notable alumini of IIT ROORKEE.all its faculty have studied from good colleges of india and foreign universities as well.it has 100% placements as well

HAHAHA..Jaypee group is bankrupt now.
I am an Alumni of This Institute, I agree that the cost of studying at this institute is huge compared to other private colleges, but, If your judgement is based just on this fact itself, it is ridiculous. Its one of the best Engineering college in India, in terms of quality of education, infrastructure, Faculty and Placements. This institute has a strong backing from the Jaypee group of companies and with the virtue of that, Institute has Capability to providing lucrative salary to the faculty and provide infrastructure for R & D because of that this institute has been attracting a lot of seasoned processors and Lecturer's from other Premier institutes of India i.e IITs, DCE, and NITs. This institute has international linkages with good universities in US, China, e.t.c. This institute also holds a deemed status, although it has been questioned by government authorities, but If you will esquire about it the deemed status is likely to stay with the institute. The institute has more than 100 % placement record across all the Major companies. Few of them being, Amazon, Google, Wipro, Sapient, TCS, Infosys... etc..
The education at this institute not only lays down the theoretical foundation of the curriculum but also emphasizes greatly on the Practical side of it.For that they provide great Laboratory infrastructure comparable to the best in India. Talking of computer labs, they have over 600 PC's distributed in 4 computer labs. They also have great lab infrastructure for Electronics and communications, Physics.. same goes for Biotech lab its even considered to be the best in country as I read in some magazine. Trust me on this I have been to a lot of primer colleges in India for participating in Robotics competitions, inducing IIT's and as I have seen it the labs here are in some cases even better that those of these IIT's.
In the end I would say, If you can arrange the money and able to get into the institute, you just have to be willing to learn and the institute will do the rest.

I guess faculties are intelligent and experienced enough but as far as part time PhD course is concerned it is a huge mess for part time students. There is no such thing as part time, students have to attend almost all classes and that too the timings are so much spread throughout the whole week that one might have to give up his job in order to complete the course work. Not only this the lectures of part time students are arranged with regular students at the end of the day, disturbing the schedule of regular students in order to co-operate with the part-time students.
i m thinking of taking admission in the college.. but one thing that i really wanaa know .. why any magzine or newspaper doesnt give its national ranking..
It's a good college with good reputation. Regarding placements, many good companies are coming here with good job offers. I'm presently studying here and i found everything fine. All faculties are good and supportive. It is a very disciplined college, many good rankers in AIEEE took admissions here. All the requirements that a student needs to be a good engineer are available. College is full of opportunities, rest depends on student.

@khyati21 i would say ...if you have got this much of percentage in your 12th standard ...then it would be better to opt some honours course..which you can easily get in some du north campus college...don't try to go with the flow ..engineering is boring ..its not about pure sciences ...attendance, assignments are all ###...
i have studied at jiit sector 128 and this college is crap...teachers don't take any interest in teaching programming languages ...all this u need to do by yourself...this college is so small and looks too damn ugly...i left this college after my 1st semester and took admission in hindu college, DU...

JIIT has many faculty which have great ego and that is why its faculty is weak. Not talking about huge donation, every college take but you should provide those faculty which are corporate, not those one who have their own issues.

I am a PhD student and about to submit my thesis very soon..Its a great college. Fee is not an issue in case of Phd because it is highly subsidized. Faculties are from reputed universities and intelligent. But, I do agree that teachers have ego problem in some departments and hard on students most of the time specially on research scholars. They even don't try to understand student's personal situations. I do agree with nupur that Phd is for full time candidates here. They left you with no option except quitting your job. Apart from this, their focus is always on quality work. When I attend International seminar, workshops, I find work of JIIT better than mostly NIITs and sometimes IITs also. They have international level approach in their working style. So, I can assure once you do your research work here, you can not face any challenge anywhere.
