Between Wayale Nagar and Khadakpada Circle there is a road on the corner of Varsha Park / Amrut Park which is supposed to be highway to Nashik. The KDMC is not giving any attention to this road and it seems that this road is developing on its own. Even after 3 years, one side of the road is still not asphalted. As a result, in the rainy season this becomes very muddy. There are electic poles that are obstacles for the traffic. KDMC is not able to move them for last more than 3 years. At the beginning of the road people throw all waste materials. In rainy season all this environment is conducive for mosquitos and other diseas spreading pests. Malerial in the rainy season in this area is very common. Now another rainy season will soon start. The lazy officers of corporation will they look at this or they will continue to sleep over this matter? The newly developed Khadakpada area brings a good reveny for KDMC by way of property tax. But what is KDMC really doing for this area.
Now more serious - on the mouth of this road (where it joins to ring road -the corner of Varsha park/Amrut park) there is a garrage. So far it was small. Now its business is increasing and hence they are spreading on the road. Slowly the part of the road will become the property of the garriage but KDMC authorities will conveniently close their eyes keep the hands open. Recently a vendor opened a tent just adjescent to this garrage for selling water melons. He slowly started coming forward to the road by occupying more of the road. Thereafter a waste paper vendor had built a tin shed and he is freely using road space without any hesitation. Over and above this a water purifyer vendor opens a temporary umbrella shed just in the middle of the road to demonstrate and sell his product. Just opposit to Amrut Park in the Aarati CHS a corporator has residence. All these enchroching establishments are on the side of Aarati CHS. Now a days we know what corporators are interested in. So why will they raise their voice or do any action that will protect interest of the public. Khadakpada public is hi-fi public for them nothing matters. And thus corporators and the enchrochers spread over fast.
The question is who are the KDMC officials and what are they doing to prevent this? The above case is only symbolic. There will be thousands of cases like this.
We people and that too we educated people only are indifferent to the environment around us and we take every thing granted. Curruption is one of them and today we have the open results around us.
Will the Mucinipal commissioners and sincere authorities of the KDMC (we are sure they exist even if few in numbers) look at the above and take necessary preventive measures.
We have no bias about any individual even we do not know who are those people but someting going wrong in front of our eyes need to be reported as a citizen of this city and hence this complaint.
Hope the KDMC will look into this and such other matter and protect the roads and public properties from the oppertunists who are working against the public interest.
