[Resolved] Kamarhati Municipality — Illegal Butcheries

I am a permanent residence of Rojan Bagan, kamarhati, Kolkatat - 700 058. there are a nos. of illegal butcheries followed by illegal beef shops ( without any license ) in our densed locality, every day atleast 30 - 40 animals slaughtered in these illegal butcheries, the waste materials of the slaughtered creats a great nusiance, it also became a chhallenge for health in the locality. After several intimation through councillors the municipal are not taking action against these butcheries. If it continued then the local people have to leave their houses because it become a matter of survival in the locality.

imalsosupported that complaint bcoz its really a harmfull situation at rojan bagan local public also not intrested to take any action against of them but first time in this area some young people and local clubs complaint at muncipality to take action against this system

I FULLY AGREE TO STOP THIS CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND ALSO TO OPEN DISPLAY OF MEAT AND BLOOD IN THE SHOPS WHICH IS HIGHLY DISGUSTING TO VEGITERIANS AND CAUSES TRAUMA TO SMALL YOUNG KIDS.KMC MUST MAKE LAWS TO BAN SUCH DISPLAYS.

I m not fully agree with the above comments but i m also not in support of illegal butcheries followed by illegal beef shops.

The authority should arrange a separate location for butcheries and disposal of the waste materials of the slaughtered form the population area and also mention the age limit of slaughtered animals.
