I had bought Khaitan Platino pedestal fan 5 years back.Within the guarantee period its 'neck' become broken.That time the Dealer replace the part.Again the same complaint happened.Now it's out of guarantee period.I heard from a dealer that the parts are not available of this model.Now what can I do?Is there any way to repair this fan?
i bought a khaitaan ceilling fan 1400mm from military canteen a month ago . it was a brand new one but nowadays i get different sounds from the fan. i feel the capacitor should have gone. i didnt get any customer care no. so please mail me ur customer care no.

This regarding of non working Kaitan fan.
I had bought a Khaitan fan (1200 mm, Fan no.is 212484) last year. This fan is not working from dated 01/04/2010. I called in your company[protected]. They give me service center number. so I called your services center number they gave me complain no KHD30 and told me that They will rectify the problem within 24 hour. But no one attend my complaint til 07/04/2010. Everyday I called in your service center and they said they will send service engg as soon as possible after some days (on dated08/04/2010) his man came for vist and repaired the fan. But after next day this is fan again goes faulty and not still not working.
I again called your service center.But still nobody came to rectify the problem.
Your product is good but your services are so poor.

polar ceiling fans — fans not properly works
we are using polar fans from last five years,but they not provide proper air.we have purchased fans from your stockist[anant kumar & brothers,dhanokhar talab,barabanki,u.p.] kindly solved this problems Thanks . i have also lost my faith in khaitan company.my new highspeed pedestal fan got out of order after providing only a few months service

i am from cochin i bought one kahaitan pedestal fan some 3 years back. the same was working somewhat ok and so i decided to buy one more. Unfortunately as soon as i bought the new one the old one stopped working. The new one also developed complaints in a few days. after a lot of effort the company technician came and repaired them. again with in one month both stopped working. then i took the fans to the company
service centre and they got it repaired. but it didnt last for one month. now the company has stopped its service centre and the private party who was running the service centre also stopped the service of khaitan fans due to the low quality of the fans they are selling now. In short khaitan is selling totally substandard products now a days and i advice not to buy any stuffs of khaitan.

I complaint in your service center in chennai ph :[protected] complaint no:8936, complain dt: 14.09.2011, but no responce in still to date not visit in your mechanic
khaitan ceiling fan — Defective motor
Khaitan 24" ceiling fan purchased from a local dealer in 2011 have developed a defective motor. Customer care telephone/mobile No. could not be ascertained for lodging of complaint. Disagree
1. I learnt later that these fans are susceptible to electric fluctuations. I had to replace the board at 1/3 the original cost! If you compare with regular ceiling fans (say Usha) which never has this problem.
2. When ever there is a current failure and the supply is resumed subsequently, someone has to manually switch on again. Imagine the inconvenience when one is fast asleep!
3. Out of 5, 3 have stopped working. Compare this to other fans whose life is for many many years.
4. I guess I have to incur same exhorbitant cost in repairing these 3 as well. Not sure when the last and final one will meet the same fate
Altogether a bad buy decision
