[Resolved]  KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE — Be aware of the fake pen drives being sold by unknow person who speaks hindi

What can i do if i buy it already because i dont no about
anyone can buy it because he will give in cheeper rate like 500 to 600
till me how can replace it. The company woners have to replace it because he produce this kind
of pen drives, how can we see it is packed in cover anyone dont now how it is.

Thank you very much !!! for the above post .The same guy had come to our office, he said he is a lorry driver coming from delhi ( Noida ) . We chkd upto 3 pen drives, all of them were fake and was not working . Thanks Again !!!

it is the same with us here in bangalore.he tells he is trucker from delhi.he speaks only hindi.WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY.In case any o[censored] get to meet this guy try transfering data more than 512mb to the pen drive.I coul;dntbdo this cos he just vanished from our office as one of our boyz quoted a rate.

Infact we also bought 6 pen drives..from the same Hindi Speaking person posing as the Lorry Driver...4 are working but 2 did not worked...

Yes this is true. This happened in ITC Infotech, bangalore on 26 August 2009.

Actually this is a 512mb pen drive but through software they manupulated to 32GB but you can see only 512mb of data.

So do you want to pay 500/- for 512mb? Think...

Hey! I'm in Bangalore! today he came to my door step! and when i refused to buy it...he just took 500 bucks and gave it to me.

worst part is i transferred lots of data to it and when i try to access it...nothing exists!



is there anyway that i can retrieve my data! can somebody help me please

Hey guys we were the victims of this guys jus a few minutes ago he sold 6 pendrives to us he said his name was pervez khan he gave me his number as [protected]..we have called him back sayin we want more drives..hope he comes..

Why would anyone buy computer hardware from a trucker? Are you guys nuts?
Pen drives come with warranties - do you expect a warranty to be honored when you buy from such sources? I guess some folks just learn the hard way!

i have purchased 32GB pen drive in PUNE(7 jan 2010) by a person who is speaking Hindi(Biharee) for Rs/-700 only, & having same problems.

I have lost may Rs700/- due to LALACH. This is a new year gift for me, because in future i will be aware of this type of cheating.

So, I suggests everyone please do not buy anything which is sold at less price than market, there is absolutely something wrong behind it.

My Father always says that, Lalach bahot buri cheez hai, now i understand that Lalach bahot buri cheez hai, ye aadami ko dubake rehati hai. Afterwards i will not gonna buy anything at cheaper prize. this loss is enough to open my eyes.

Holy smoke... I just got one, but I told that guy to check it, and i found this page... that guys is waiting outside near a ATM as i told him checking it will take half an hour, I have not yet paid him, what should I do? Call the cops??

I went to see that guy near ATM to return it but he is gone, good that I did not pay him, I still have this 32 gb piece of with me though.
