Those who criticize so much about Kolangal, probably haven't followed other serials such as Thirumathi Selvam, Thangam etc. Else, they would have reached up to the director/producer and fallen on their feet to stop such stories. Whatever is shown in these serials on the atrocities of women by fellow women or men is a height of extremism. They don't convey any message to the viewers except creating high emotions and anxiety among the viewers, esp. women who watch them no matter whether they like the happenings in each episode or not. And as long as they watch, the TRP ratings for these serials would be high, sponsors will dump money on these and TV channels will continue to make huge profit. Historically, tamil viewers of cinema / any form of entertainment, have always welcomed changes. Hence, the only way to curb this everlasting animosity in serials, is that some one comes up with new type of stories and enforce a change of taste among the viewers, esp. ladies. There may be some failures to begin with, but once the viewers get to the habit of the change, they would embrace them. It should be taken up by some channels who don't believe that TRPs can also be boosted by non-sentimental stories and go ahead to prove the same.
Any forms of complaints or protests or litigation wouldn't work since its a free trade and fundamental rights have to be honored.

I never seen such a very worst serial as like KOLANGAL.Sevearl muders has been taken place in the seial, but so far no body's traced out and this serial is going endless. Tholgappian sustained injuries and forgot his old life is very worst scrrenplay. Except some of the women characters, all the characters either love and affair with Tholgappian or each other, but so for he has not decided to marry anybody. This serial giving unnecessary mental tature to the people.
Hence kindly put an end this serial at the earliest for which the tamil peoples are greatefull to you.

i never seen such a worst, irritating, Blade kolangal serial.. i have small request sun network, instead of telecasting serial, better u utilize this time for some commercial adds. its will be better than compared to kolangal serial.. i don't know what idea tholkapin mind.kolangal serial like a gums.. its always elobrating i dont when will be ends.. i want tell u about alumungi abhinaya, he is lady t.rajendar.. 10paisa action pana sona 1000 roabaku action panurangu.. she will be lady t. rajedar. antha action patha enaku vudombala kambeli pora mathiri iruku.am some how happy because tholar role will he closed..i never seen such kind very very worst direction.. i cant able to explain how kolangal how affects me.. my humble request please stop extend serial .. instead of extend serila oru nalaki 5 minutes vunga serial telecast pana pothum (with out extend) remaning time use adds..pls stop this serial..

The serial has been dragging too long!!! There is no substance in the serial. Devyani, better stop crying; she is more irritating!! Enough is enough of Aadhi. At one point of time, the serial was about to come to an end. It would have been better if it stopped at that stage. I think these days, just for the heck of it, the producers want to prolong the serials for any length of time to create record of sorts and outbeating each other!! Please stop playing with the patience of viewers.
Also Mr.Thiruchelvam is struggling to come to grips with the serial and perhaps does not know how to bring it to an end!!
Vikatan Televistas has sure lost its name and popularity with this serial alone.

i strongly condemn the telecast of such negative disastrous serials . most of the directors follow the same pattern, all ladies are villains. unimaginablescheming . especially, kolangal, dont know frm where theSADDIST THIRUCHELVAMis framing the scenes, what kind of moral responsibility is he having&what satisfaction will he achieve . such crude &tension creating scenes. at one point nobody will see it . as it is now i switctched off the tv at 9pm. god save sun tv viewers.

it is a negative irresponsible serial, with no moral binding, no social responsility on the part of the SADDIST DIRECTOR . i think he better go to a psychatrist, he's totallyoff &cruel, &hurting the viewers mentally .

What is happening with kolangal...Is it a serial or a epic.. Abhi. Abhis mother, and Father, all gone mad, dumb, paralysed and recovered back. Then it is AAdhis mother who gone mad and dumb and recovered back.Now it is the director who is in a way an and gone back mad lost all his memories.
Please it the high time for the sun TV to prevent all the viewers from getting mad and dumb.
Please finish the serial b4 this year end AND never ever ask this director to direct any serial.

When will you going to complete the project. Please try to complete immediately. Why because yesterday i have seen the worst ending of thols shot by aadhi. I would like to ask you one question please explain me.
First could you answer my following questions please.
1. Is your intention to run the serial continuously or you are going to say something to the people about justice.
2. If you said justice, why you are not punished aadhi. Are you encourage the criminals .

which one you are going to say best for people, whether criminal activity or good activity.

It is a good serial and the director was excellent and he is courage and some parts of this serial was expressing one real thing which was happening in a island you are great Thiruselvam sir, dont bother about negative comments and they are having that much OF knowledge ONLY in this serial, GREAT WISHES TO YOU SIR.

I agree all your comments my dear friends.. Kolangal is too bore.. But in another point of view it s the original side of a lady who is from poor back ground doing a business. This story is too old. But there s lots of scope in acting for the heroine of this story..I think these characters in this story will never change there originality till the climax..Till now Adi did many cruel things using other persons but now he is one step forward . He himself killing the persons who are all against him. So soon he will become very very cruel.. And he himself lead his end.Adi will never change.He will go extreme and soon reach his end. If adi change, the story will be worst. The final will be the success of abi. It will be a grand success. So lets wait and see..

I have watched the12thNov'09 episode of Kolangal. Leave alone the story and the way the serial
was picturised sofar and lot of complaints/views expressed thru this forum but in the said episode,
Devyani enacted very well .
And, i feel that Mr.Thiruselvam being the originator of this Kolangal serial, let him do anything
to run the serial, since it is his creativity and to give a solution ( anything in the offing?) .
We need to remind him regularly about social awareness.
It is upto him to change his thoughts and present some reality of the sequences in his
show.
Let us wait and watch.
