I have a complaint with Kutumbh Care, Noida. This firm is a firm basically helping people to apply for PAN cards, fill their Income Tax Return. The firm's Noida is situated in Sector 27.
I have tried to fill my my ITR through this agency, filing ITR by Kutumbh Care was a pathetic experience for me. I haven't had such a bad experience in my whole life.
It was the time of March'09 when I felt like filing my ITR. I had more than one Form 16s so I felt like using service of some professional agency, since this agencies agent was coming to my office and some other colleague of mine had used their services in past, so I trusted them and call this guy. This guy said that a fee of Rs. 150 will be charged and your work will be done. It was pretty reasonable. Around 1 week before of last date of filing IT, I went their office at Sector 27. They took my docs and gave me a form. I filled that form and waited till I get a response. I waited there for 20 minutes and nobody came to attend me, I took as they might be busy as it was a month of March. After some wait I called the guy who gave me the form and handed over the documents to him. He told me that he'll compute the tax and revert till next day, then I can deposit my tax and forward the challan to them. Sounded great, I paid Rs 150 to him and came back to my office.
I waited for his call next day but no-body reverted. In fact after 3 days no body tried to contact me. In these 3 days I tried to call them around 40 times, nobody picked the phone. Since only 2 days were left for the last date, on 4th day I went their office. I was shocked to see that there was a board of "CLOSED" on the gate, but it wasn't latched from inside. I felt like inquiring inside, so I moved in. I saw that all the staff were their busy with chatting and all. I called the guy and asked why they are not picking the phone and is my computation sheet ready. The guy responded irresponsibly that "Kya karein sir bahut load hai ajkal". Then I ask him to do right now. He then searched for my docs, which took around 20 mins. Then he anyhow convinced me that it will be done till evening. I said OK.
Again I was cheated, the sheet didn't come that evening but it was available to me till next day after noon. I deposited the tax online and forwarded the receipt to them. I was expecting that any acknowledge mail will be sent to me. But again the same "No Response"
Anyhow I managed to call them, they said that it has been done.
Now comes the 3rd thing the acknowledgment reciept, I asked how will I get my acknowledgment the girl replied brusque, "It will be after 30th August, and you'll receive a notification". Till date (October 25th) I haven't received any notification from their side about the acknowledgment. It's really really pathetic.
For other I'll only say "BEWARE of these CHEATERS, NEVER EVER TRY TO FILL YOUR ITR thru KUTUMBH CARE, NOIDA". These guys are really really SICK

It was indeed a insight from your point of view for us as an enterprise which serves several thousand salaried individuals for their Income Tax related matters at very resonable cost as you rightly mentioned, before commenting anything further on your case we would like to know your further details;namely:
1. Full name & address.
2. Receipt Number for payment of Rs.150/-
3. PAN
4. Name of employer
5. Mail id with which you have sent us mails
All these you can send us directly on our mail id [protected]@gmail.com.
The fact of submitting your papers in March 09 and details about March month including the last date contradicts from your later statement of Handing over the acknowledgment in the month of August 09, cause the last date as specified by Income Tax department for applicable case was 31st July 2009 and resultant handover were done in the month of August 09.You cant get form 16 in the month of March 09 for the year 1st April 2008 till 31st March 2009 so you cant hand it to us in March 2009.
The board of CLOSED was put on 31st July 2009 for the purpose of timely processing accepted cases and not accepting new ones.It helps us to serve better and in timely manner and it nowhere deters people who have submitted their case to walkin or contact.
On the contrary we have served satisfactorily several hundred individuals who walked in last week of July 09 and this number has increased every year.
Lastly, acknowledgment collection in case of walking clients not being part of our corporate tie ups is responsibility of the client and they are suppose to collect/get it collected from our office.
We would further be able to comment on your harsh allegations and on your case only if you help us with you requsite details.
