Examinations
Examination System is designed ensuring Reliability and Validity to evaluate the performance of the students during and at the end of the semesters.
We follow the semester pattern of examinations. UG programmes have six semesters with 180 credits, PG programmes have four semesters with 120 credits except MCA which has six semesters with 180 credits.
The Examination has two components – Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) and Comprehensive Examination (CE) . CIA is conducted to monitor the progress of the students during the semester and CE at the end of the semester after the completion of 90 working days.
The components of Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) are periodical tests, Assignments/Seminars/Quiz/Group Discussion and Attendance for 25% of the total marks.
