[Resolved]  Livewires Media Institute — Cheated

i am looking for good institute for doing sound engineering . so pls suggest me the good institute.

Opening up institute's branches doesn't prove that an institute is good nor does it do any good to student by saying only "You have to hard work". It has to prove by showing example and producing student's work which are worth considering and professional! And if the students are placed in real organization of repute then it proves that the institute has something! Placing them somewhere whose face is only a website, is no placement at all. Every nook an corner these days every one finds a media institute and mostly the faculties are failed professionals who could not etch out out there in the field. They more often than not have vague idea about their subjects. Once I faced a professional from these type of institute and asked few questions which he could not answer and started giving excuses. I am not going to mention the name of the institute here but I have faced them not once. Once I asked a photographer from one of these "professional" institutes what is the difference between deep focus and shallow focus ? He started blabbering something which showed his ignorance about the subject. I know very well that he can earn few bucks and get away knowing nothing about photography because with DSLR camera photography has become easy for people. Again I asked one passed out direction student "what is narrative beat?" he told me he never heard any thing like that. I asked second time what is High key lighting? He did not say anything. Forget complex film analysis, these are rudimentary... So institute has to show the way and give students solid knowledge. Only giving excuses and beating same drum "you have to do hard work" won't prove anything except showing that they these institutes have other motives than teaching real stuff!

Thanks Rishiprabhu..I was about to join the class. But after reading your post I decide not to join and try to find some other acting institute where I can genuinely learn acting.

Pathetic institute in india...Paise lutne kaa kaam karti hai yeh institue.Inki institute ka ek slogan yeh honaa hona chahiye.. "Badi badi baatein...Vadapaaun sorry Dher saare paise lutte..."

These people are big cheaters and fraud .they make fools of innocent people and make false promises of placement please people who cant afford heavy amount for placement which some people provide to these cheaters don't ever try to join this live wire institute.if you are really talented and want to make career in mass media then please go for genuine and registered course classes.but live wire is nothing but only waste of money.

They talk very sweet and manipulate the student to pay the registration fee of 5000 and the gril who is a rupali a conceller say the fee is refundable. ...and after when we ask for refund they say...no we can not refund your fee
And also they..say only 2 seat left u have to pay right now to book your seat

Remember one thing before reacting to negative remarks that there are more negative people around us and don't let this negativity to play with ur brains friends.
Ask these people to give there contact no and receipt no of admn so that we can go and verify with the institute if they have are really genuine and there complains are correct.

If livewires is in all over india and every few months there new branches are coming up what does that mean?

i had taken an admission for acting and what ever commitments given by her were never fulfilled and they just cheat everytime by saying that there is last 2 seats left and once admission taken they dont even care
even at the time of admnission i asked her abt complains on this site she said its competitors make this but this time i am no competitor but the student who lost 98000 fees and promised me free portfolio but i saw that was made by there photography students as practice who were learning photography

hi guys mujhe nahi pta it is fake or true... but i went to livewires south Ex they were so nice to me...they told me about the scheme of 90k package in 65k... which includes 4 outdoor trips... and they are keep on calling me... that when am enrolling and giving the registration fee... am totally confused about doing my diploma from there or not.

please help! what to do!

i read all these above comments good and bad both and what seems to me that the people who have shared the negative comments are genuine and those who are trying to defend are not. I called the institute and the guy asked me to enroll asap to avail the 40% scholarship and never reveals the fees in total yet asks to visit them to know about it...i understand this is a sales strategy and i am not judging the institute in this but reading the real life experience of few ones clearly made my mind for a big NO...i trust their grief

I was cheated as well
I was told theres lateral entry for interior designing (after completing diploma in civil engg) ...and that only 2seats were availabl. (I had also enqurd about all this complaints about the institute, they said its not true ...their compititors were doing this.)
So i payed advanc n aftr som weeks when i went Andheri for joining i came to know that there is no such thing as lateral entry.
When i askd for refund they said they will return n 1month time. But didnt return yet. Again when i askd they said there is no refund.
Iam from Arunachal pradesh, i[censored] peopl know where it then ull understand how far it is. I had to book flyt tickt n dn cab, fooding and lodging charges.
By the time i came to know about the institite it was too late and i couldnt gt any other institute either. I lost 1yr.

I have already paid 5000/- for my singing course as an advance(Mumbai branch, Andheri). Now I am confused whether I should go further and pay the remaining amount or no. Help guys! If everyone are complaining about this institute then why not go and ask for refund together. There are so many news channels we can go and complain about. Or lets make a page on fb for all those who have been cheated and share as much as possible. Coz if they are really cheating and luring poor parents and students to take up the course then I guess everyone should come together and take some real strict action.
