[Resolved]  Madipakkam EB office — frequent night power cuts

I can symphatize with the comments posted by isaikkimuthu above. I shifted to Madipakkam very recently and long power cuts in the night makes life terrible. Power cut at night happens for around 5 to 6 hrs and there is voltage fluctuation even after that. Please treat these complaint very seriously and request you take remedial action at the earliest to help us with our plight.

I am living in Madipakkam for the last 20 years the population was developing in huge in around places in Madipakkam is booming like any thing but the local municipality and the EB office are not doing the job properly.

There is a EB office near Ganesh nager if you go there it will not be like government office...Its looks like a local wine shop. The people who where in duty will always in drunk and they don't know what exactly happening in the place.

The power cut at night happens for around 5 to 6 hrs and there is voltage fluctuation even after that. n Madipakkam, we are facing frequent power cuts and very very bad voltage variation during night times. having < 1 year children also suffering a lot crying and crying...EB office should take necessary actions such as bring in additional transformer..

For collect he EB bill and municipal bill they are keen to the people but they are not giving that particular support in their performance.

kindly suggest me to take proper action on this. In particular People in Alamelumanga puram is ready to do any particular action for stopping this power cut and voltage fluctuation.

If authority want Anna hazare...kind of thing then we are ready to do that. We can fight against power cut.

we are facing frequent power cuts and very very bad voltage variation during night times at Sadasivam nagar, 2nd Link street. We having 1 year children also suffering a lot crying and crying...EB office should not take necessary actions such as bring in additional transformer.Our neigbouring will give the place for transformer. But no one take any action. If nobody take any we decide to visit directly to CM. There will be no way for us.

We suffured when govt run Aavin was monopoly waited for more than an hour to get milk packets. And big que to get a milk card and most red tape

We suffered when govt run BSNL was monopoly waited for more than 13 years to get a telephone connection.

same way we are suffering from poor Electicity quality and frequent power cuts.

I personally recommend to have private players in power production and distribution too.

People will talk about subsidy. where the money for subsidy come from it is your tax and my tax. These subsidies are not comming from Poltical party funds or from Politician pocket. But still if they say poor as supported from rich people tax. But in Electricity it is rich who consume more subsidy.

We are working 130 days to make politician rich... you beleive this Keep spreading

One of the worst service providers' award(?) Can be given to Madipakkam Electricity Board. Least concerned of people, poor output voltage, poorest transformers, mediocre employees, a below-average EB office for large population who have paid (and are paying) Crores of money in terms of EB deposit and recurring EB charges. It is high-time the Government wakes up to solve this problem swiftly or otherwise, the Govt may be shown the door during next election.

what the hell happening at Madipakkam EB board every day nite around 10'o clock they take down power at least 0.5 to 1 hr and on 06/06/2014 power went for almost 4 hrs at nite untill 2 AM in the morning and when called to EB office no one picks the phone EO mobile no says unreachable . when collecting huge power bill a proper service too be provided but waste fellows at Madipakkam EB office.

in madipakkam EB office no one pick the call, incase any body took the call they are scolding us. some times power cuts by night 10pm it will come morning 7am. the EB number is[protected] is no one pick the call. on 24/04/15 that night i made 64 times, but no response. our neighbour went directly to made the complaint but nothing they do. very very poor

We came to madipakkam Feb 2015, We are suffering lot by cutting power during night times and last 2 - 3 days power cut almost 5hrs to 6hrs. Its horrible to stay in home with small kids, they are crying. I have tried to catch EB office by phone call, but response "call is in other call please wait"and I tried more then 5 time, its same response.

Can any one tell me the reason of power cut?

We feel very better in case it will get action as positively.

Madipakkam is been the most worst in power supply voltage fulxuation is damn high and can't even sleep during night times

There has a been a frequent power cut in ramanagar bazar rd madipakkam area. During the night time there is no current for almost 3-4 hours. We called twice to the eb office Madipakkam, and every time we got the same reply, that current will come within an hour or 10 min or so. Authorities got to do something about this.

I am taking about madipakkam power supply.. Everyone write a complain but I want to know any action will be taken for the compliance because if you take the action it will not happen again right.. So we will raise the complain I think our time only waste..
